We usually don't drive ourselves to the airport, so I'm looking for info on parking...I checked the website and it indicates 3 or 4 different locations/prices...does anyone have experience with this, as in how much it costs and how far/long the different locations are from the airport...?

I've never parked long term right at the airport so I can't help you there. But if you're interested, we always use the Park N Fly - economy site. For a week, it usually costs around $60 if you can find coupons. Shuttles are quick, and it's only about 5 minutes to the airport. I think you can also gain Aeroplan or airmiles points. They offer different levels of service but we've never had any problems at the economy site.

You want to park in the Viscount value lot. The weekly max is $70 and you get to wait inside for the monorail to the terminals. You can even drop your party off at the door and then go and park. I will never use Park N' Fly again.

I used to use the Viscount Lot, because you can't beat the train, but the prices have got a lot higher since I last used it a few years ago...

$70/week outside or $90/week in the garage...

Park N Fly et al, might be significantly cheaper now, but you're at the mercy of their shuttles.

Is there debit, or do you have to pay cash? And, I'm guessing you pay upon return?

The Viscount "value" (I use that term loosely) garage has machines you use when leaving, before you get back to your car. I believe they accept debit, and definitely credit. I don't think they take cash (could be wrong).

I think the Viscount outside "value" lot is still manned by a person so you can pay cash if you want (probably credit, maybe debit)

Sorry I don't have more concrete info on the outside lot, I only use the garage now, especially in the winter. I'll pay the $20 to avoid coming back to a car heaped with snow.

I much prefer the monorail train to any shuttle bus. It is prompt and keeps you inside the whole way, so no standing outside in your spring jacket in -20C temperatures. It services both terminals so it doesn't matter if you leave from one and come back to a different terminal.

I work at the aiport and today the Viscout lot was FULL. You had to go to the garage (more $$$) granted it's March Break but something to keep in mind if you're travelling at peak times.

I parked in the viscount garage last week. It was my first ever trip to the airport and I found it simple. It did cost $90 for the week though but you got to park in the garage and out of the elements. The monorail was real nice too.
