We had a great trip & took over 1700 pics!!! A lot of them are posted in the TR. (ok, over 400 are) Use the link below or go to Disneyland Trip Reports & look for the 25th Anniversary topic.

Is there a link to your TR? I can't figure out how to access it.

Thanks!

This will be my first time to DL since i was really young so i dont remember much. I am a WDW Vet... I keep hearing people call DL "Walt's Park"... which when i sat back and thought about it was kind of a neat thing... I was wondering what different rides or "things" around the park are EXACTLY as they were when walt last strolled around the park??? Thanks!

wow that's a hard question to answer!! Here's an article talking about some of the originals still at Disneyland:

http://www.disneyorama.com/2008/11/14-original-disneyland-attractions-that-are-still-around-today/

Even the originals have had updates to keep things current looking. If you look at old pics from Fantasyland, they had striped awnings to the entrances of the rides, but today....they are encased & look more natural to the attraction.

One place that Walt loved was the River Belle Terrace. He loved to eat breakfast out on the patio so he could watch the people walking by. We make a point of going there every trip.

Also look for Walt's & Roy's Initials in the banister by the POTC.

Make sure when you enter the park to take a look above the Fire Dept. In the 2nd story window....there is always a light left on for Walt. This was an apartment for Walt & Lillian & for the most part has been left untouched. Unfortunately it is not open for viewing.

Look at the windows all the way down Main Street (2nd floor)....every name represents someone that helped Walt get Disneyland up & running. One window is dedicated to his father.

If you get a chance.....please take the Walk in Walt's Footsteps Tour. It is so informative & you will never look at Disneyland the same!!!!

Hope that helps some!!
