Connie, until then, in a nutshell...

DVC is a point-based system. You make an initial purchase of a certain number of points, which can be traded for various accomodations at WDW and other places. Your purchase price is a one time expense, but you do pay maintenance fees every year, based on the number of points you own. Point totals are based on size of villa, time of year and choice of weekday or weekend night stays.

If you use your points at DVC villas, and are used to going on average once a year and staying at Deluxe properties, your savings can be substantial over time. Many people will be happy to tell you of their experiences if you ask specific questions!!!

I love my DVC membership and have three vacations planned so far for this year!!!
