My son currently uses the DAS at WDW. Reading through the threads it is my understanding that we will need to provide a doctor's note to DLRP as opposed to no docs required at WDW.
I'd like to know ahead of time what documentation I will need to present to the cast members and what card we will need.
My son is on the autism spectrum and while he is very high functioning, he is quick to have meltdowns if in very close proximity to strangers for extended periods of time.
I'm usually able to keep him distracted with his Nintendo while waiting in line, but when other children see him playing on the hand held, they will get too close and send him into panic.
He's a very tall 9 year old (over 5 foot) and is very capable of walking and standing, so no stroller/wheelchair is needed.
With the DAS at WDW we are given a return time, so that we are able to sit in a quiet, low traffic area and wait until it's our turn to ride.
Would love to know what we will need to provide to the CM, so that there are no surprises when we get there and found to not have what we need.
Thanks!!
