I received an e-mail from SW stating that I've earned "Companion Pass Membership". The e-mail states: "A designated Companion can now fly free with you anytime and everywhere you travel through February 29, 2012."
I have read all the rules & regulations & it looks like a companion can fly at no charge as long as they fly with me within the next 12 months.
Do I have to fly on a Rapid Reward ticket to use the companion pass or can I pay for a fare & the companion use the pass. I have a RR ticket, but sometimes a RR seat is not always available.
Anyone have any experience with a Companion Pass? It's the first time I've received one.
