Inflated wait items for Hagrid’s at close?

Does Universal inflate their wait times nearing closing like WDW does? Specifically wondering about Hagrids…

I don't think so. We did Hagrid's right before close on June 2 and I did not think it was inflated. We got in line about 8:45 when it said 80 minutes and it was probably right at that or a little less.

Not sure about hagrid’s but we’re here now and have noticed some rides stop running half the ride closer to closing time. Jurassic river adventure was only loading one side about an hour and a half before closing time. Noticed it several other places too.

YES. We got in line twice at close. Both times was listed 90 minutes. Freaked our kids out. We were off the ride in 60 minutes. This was 2 weeks ago.
Honestly I don't think you can find a shorter line unless you rope drop and are at the front of the pack. Which if you are at the front of the pack, you waited 60 minutes, just before the gates opened.

I should have said this in my earlier post. I highly recommend getting in line right before close in the summer. That time of night, the outdoor part of the wait (about half of our 80ish minutes) is a lot cooler with no sun beating down on you.

Hagrid's is honestly inflated most of the time, usually if I'm waiting the amount it says it's because the ride broke down at some point.

I was hoping so when we went in April. At 9:30 pm it was something like 200 minutes, maybe more. We were walking out of the park at 11:30 pm. So better but not great

Last week when we were there I definitely noticed the posted waits increasing as it got closer to close. My family jumped in line around 8 (posted 90 minutes for a 9 pm close) and waited about an hour. I wasn't with them so I was keeping an eye on wait times and by 8:30 they had the posted wait time up to 110 minutes. But, a lot of people are jumping in line then right before close - my brother said he saw the line get longer (i.e. the end of the line was further back than where they started) while they waited.
