Hello Everyone. I do not know much about photography--I just have a good time. I am still in the dark ages and using film. My camera is my antique 25 year old plus Pentax K1000. It still shoots a pretty good picture.
Ah man that is a great shot. I only saw 1 lionness at the National Zoo. I want to go to either the Philadelphia Zoo or the Baltimore Zoo. Not sure which one.

Thank you. If you go to the Phila Zoo, you'll see 4 lions, 2 of them white (not albino). If you go soon, you'll still see elephants, then if you go to the Baltimore Zoo next year, you'll see 3 of our elephants as they are closing that exhibit here.
They've built new exhibits for the big cats, it's pretty nice. They've also been improving other exhibits. Hope you enjoy if you go.

Very cool! I'll be bringing my K1000 down in January as well, but most of the work will be on my Pentax DSLR which uses all the same lenses. The K1000's a classic, though and I suspect that it'll still be capable of shooting great photos when my DSLR gives up the ghost.
