Infants on Board

My baby is due 12 weeks before we leave on Feb 12 Western 7 day. What is the baby is a bit late? Has anyone ever run into this situation? Will it be OK if the baby turns 12 weeks while we are cruising? Should I not take the chance?

Any info is helpful.

Hello! I am fairly versed in the terms and conditions portion of the cruise. I will be turning 24 weeks pregnant two days after my cruise starts. If I was already 24 weeks at the day we are leaving, I would be a no-go.

If you look under terms and conditions at the Disney Cruise website and then under "Refusal of Passage" (last sentence) it states that 'infants under 12 weeks old will not be allowed to travel'.

When I questioned my 'close call' with my due date to an agent at Disney (and the fact that we had already booked the cruise before I discovered this potential problem), they said that they would have gladly worked with me to reschedule the cruise. I don't know if any additional cost would be involved in that.....

I, personally, would absolutely not take the chance of paying for a cruise before you know how old the baby will be. If the baby is <12 weeks old, he/she will NOT be allowed to cruise.

Of course, isn't the cruise fully refundable 60 days out? You'll know at 60 days out when the baby was born, and could cancel then.
