We are going to WDW with our two children (4yrs and 17mths) at the end of the month.

I wanted to get some info on full fat (**** milk).

We are going to do the Refillable Mugs. As well we are doing the meal plan but of course the little one is not part of that.

Basically I want to figure out how to get him his milk (as well as the bigger kid) without it costing me a fortune and also with ease of purchasing.

Any guidance would be appreciated.

If you buy it at the gift shop it's cheaper than the food court.

BTW **** before milk was just an abbreviation for homogenized but it got cut.... funny - didn't even realize

I was trying to figure out what that word was. :rotfl:

Some resorts have refrigerators. I think you can easily keep a 1/2 gallon jug in them. You can purchase 1/2 gallons on most of the resort stores.

I was wondering about that.

What we do is get the case of chocolate milk from horizions (orgainic) from cost co. 18 med juice box type cartons. MY oldest DD loves them and it easier since my youngest is very allergic to it and it does't spill or get cups dirty. We bring a bunch to WDW with us every year. We bring soy boxs for the baby now. (and she is breast feed still so that helps some.)

Honeslty for a week at WDW I wouldn't worry if it was 2% or full fat. After all it is just a week.

Mod and deluxes have refridgerators in the room. If not ask, they are free.

wegoshop.com delivers food. I belive it cost $15 and there is a minimum, but it is a good deal and will save $ in the end.

There is no milk with the refillable mugs, so that doesn't help you.

Milk is $1.29 for a half pint, $1.99 for a pint, $2.99 for the next larger but I can't remember if it was a quart or a half gallon. For our DS we were able to get milk as part of the Dining Plan with all of his meals. You may also use snack credits for milk at many places.

Since you will have the mugs, perhaps get milk for your drink with your meal, give the milk to your kids, and drink something from the mug yourself? Well, that works for dining at your resort.

I have purchased "milk boxes" (Parmalat brand) for the kids lunches here at home but they cost $1 each and only hold 6.5 oz. like a juice box so they are not a good value. About the same as paying $1.29 for an 8 oz. container of milk at your resort.

Enjoy your trip!
