Inexpensive, but decent Cincinnati hotel?

We're thinking of taking a little trip to Cincinnati in the late spring. We vacationed there about fifteen years ago and stayed at the Netherland, but can't afford that this time.

Anybody have any recommendations?

There's a Marriott by the river in Covington now that's pretty nice. Not sure what you consider inexpensive. There is a Comfort Suites in Newport near the Newport on the Levee entertainment area. If you want downtown you're talking a lot more expense.

We have always found better prices just across the river in KY. I can't remember exactly where we stayed but I use kayak.com.
