Just curious ... would it be possible for the entire family to walk the parent swap/FP line so that our youngest two can see the queue? This would require there being a chicken exit, I guess. They are both crazy about Indiana Jones (ok, actually the LEGO version of Indiana Jones since they have never seen any actual movies, of course). My middle DS is just about 47 inches but I am worried he is close enough to the height that he might not pass the slightly elevated measurement stick's 46 inches. But I know he would love to see the inside of the attraction, even if he can't ride. Thanks!

I'm not sure how it would work because you do have to walk through to do the parent swap and a under height little one has to be with you. Since you load and off-load at the same point it would make sense that you would walk thru the queue line to do the swap. I think it is one of those things you will just have to try to do when you get there unless someone on this board has first hand experience doing a parent swap on Indy.

If the kids are not tall enough to ride, they are not allowed through the cue. We asked this a few weeks ago because we wanted DD to go through the line, but CM said they are not allowed since some parents would try to sneek their child on the ride at the end of the line.

If they are tall enough, but choose not to ride, I dont know if/where there is a "chicken" door, but they could just go all the way through the line then onto the jeep and instead of sitting for the ride, just walk right off and out the exit.

Ok, thanks. Here's hoping middle DS is tall enough. I am not sure how he'll take the actual ride but it's the one he is most excited about.

Teach yoru kid to stand up really tall and straight. If they touch his head then he should stand firm and tall. Some kids will shrink as they are being measured. You can practice at home and help him to get used to the stick touching his head so he does not shrink. Go early in the morning and right after getting out of bed as that is when you are tallest.

Just got back and our little girl was just shy of being tall enough. I think daddy was more dissapointed than she, LOL!!
No, your child cannot come with you for the que experience, bummer. You wait off to the side with your little piece of paper that explains that you are waiting for your party, then you give your paper to the CM in the FP line and go through the FP line to ride the ride. You may bring one person with you.
Have a good time!!

I'm hoping DD will be able to ride Indy. She has 2cms to grow which she should do but it sounds like even then she might not make it. We are going to practice standing tall to touch the stick and make sure she has tennis shoes or similar with a reasonable heel rather than flip flops with no height on. Also I think we will aim for Indy right at the start of the day. I'll also have a wee word with her about the fact she probably won't get on... I figure if I set the expectation that she is unlikely to get on then she will be less disappointed if she doesn't and happier if she does :)
