I love looking at all the Industrial Chic jewelry making supplies at Michaels and other craft stores. I have never made any type of jewelry in the past and I would like to start. I just love all of this. Has anyone found a good book for making jewelry using this type of items? Not just beads, but mixing in these larger pieces of art on their own. Also, if you do make jewelry what is the best book to purchase to get started on great designs. I'm at a loss for just getting a start. Thanks ahead of time.

I think a good way to get started is to take classes (Michaels offers some) and watch lots of You tube videos and then just jump in!!! I just started making jewelry as well, and it is defiintely trial and error as far as forming wires etc. you get better as you go. I did buy a couple of books at Michael's one about wire jewelry and wire wrapping has been the most helpful and explained a lot about different wires and thier "hardness" Check out other sites too for supplies, you can find them cheaper, and also find some great videos and tutorials.
