Indoor Pools?

We're heading back down Aug 22 and while we're there, we're gonna' look around for a new resort to stay in the first week of December. We've only stayed at the Fort for our winter trips but selling the travel trailer rules that out.

My two boys (14 and 8) absolutely love the water. Pool selection is somewhat important to us, although we're at the parks most of the time. We stayed at the Contemporary last month and trying Port Orleans FQ this upcoming trip.

But for the Dec. trip, I'd love to know if there's a resort with an indoor pool. I know it's Florida but our past January trips were just a little cool for swimming. Anyone know of a resort with a good ole' cement pond?

not on site...although you would be surprised...the weather in December is often still quite suitable for swimming. I was there as a CP and often went swimming in December especially at the first of December...then again there were days you needed a heavy coat.

December is doable for the pools if you go swimming during the day. Its down right cold at night (hot tubs are alright if you don't mind running back to your hotel room while freezing your tush off!), but during the day it can get up to the 80s (at night 50 or so).

Disney pools are heated (I've seen steam rising from them in December) so the water will be OK. It's the air temperature that is the killer after you get out of the pool.

Based on your sons' ages, I would imagine they won't really care about that and will go swimming anyway and freeze once they got out. Take some sweatpants and sweatshirts for once they get out.

The pools are heated. We went in January a few years back and we swam the whole vacation. We are from the Northeast though, so it was fine for us.
