I just committed (lots of trepidation) and bought tickets for "PHYSICS:Energy & Waves" at MK August 22nd.

Anyone else doing it?:3dglasses

It sounds amazing!...Find out how they did the ballroom scene in the Haunted Mansion, and how light and sound are used in attractions.

I am psyched!...My DD12 doesn't know (wish me luck, and abridged eye rolling...I can hear it now...but MAAAAAaaaahhhhHHHH, we're on vacation!:rolleyes1)

Has anyone done this program?

Anyone know when they mail the tickets?

TIA!!!

:flower3:

I think this is the one my ds and I did at MK. We went under the Haunted Mansion and also did Stitchs escape (which I do not care for)...but it was interesting from a diff perspective
anyhow, we both enjoyed it, learned some interesting Disney facts and would def do another "class".
Enjoy...

Thanks for the feedback!:thumbsup2

...I have never done Stitch's escape, because I had the displeasure of doing Alien Encounter (pregnant with DD:scared1:) and really was not having fun.
(...I can handle Stitch, I suppose...but sure not to be a favorite.)

The Haunted Mansion thing sounds incredible though!

Thanks again!

We are going in May (7-13). I would love to get a group together to have a class for this great program. Is anyone interested? :dance3:

My son will be 11 and it looks like the classes for the younger and older groups are given at the same time. So we may be in your class. We'll definately be in the same class that day -maybe the same class is in different areas of the park at different times?? :)

I am really excited too! (I haven't told DD we're going.) I am trying to get a feel for if the class will get filled up because I want to do it, and don't want to have to choose another class! (I am sure "Wild by Design" would be really interesting, but too hot in August) I am crossing my fingers!...My DD is 12, so hopefully, if not enough people sign up, they can consolidate those close in age for a class!:cloud9:

We did this class last August with 3 kids, 9, 13, 16. It was interesting. The best part was definitely the Haunted Mansion. We also went on Stitch, could live without that terrible attraction, and Mickey's Philharmagic. The little secrets make the class worth it. Our class lasted only 2 /2 hours, not 3. Keep in mind that they are classes, so the kids are asked to answer questions and fill out some charts along the way. All in all, it was worth it to have the added benefit of the discounted ticket prices.

Well, we're a glutton for August heat punishment then 'cause we signed up for both classes - August 22nd at Magic Kingdom and the August 23rd at Animal Kingdom. My youngest was begging to take the animal class. He's convinced Haunted Mansion is scary and won't ride it. I so hope neither class gets cancelled. They are both looking forward to them. You're idea of not telling your daughter is probably a good idea. Unfortunately I asked my kids which class they preferred and so now we're doing two... :goodvibes

No worries,...it's Disney!...even sweating profusely is fun at Disney! There are no assurances classes will fill, so you may make a narrow escape!
I actually think there will be eye rolling on my daughter's part, AND she'll love it!

what happens if you buy your YES tickets and then later the class is cancelled that you signed up for?
