I know there's switchboard.com, but anybody got any favorites I should check out next month??? DD & I are going to the Carrie Underwood concert at the state fair and seeing the koalas at the zoo. Any other suggestions??

TIA!
Brenda

We live about 30 minutes from Indianapolis and have yearly memberships to both Conner Prairie and the Children's Museum. I have a four year old and our entire family loves both of these places. Hope that helps. Let me know if you have any other questions.

From your title, I think you might have been asking about a LSS? There is an awesome one south of Indianapolis in Mooresville called "Just a Little Bit Moore" which is a great store that has all kinds of crops, etc and really neat embellishments/diecuts, some that are custom made for them. There is a nice local restaurant called "Gray's Cafeteria" that has lots of homemade food, really good! You would probably want to allow about 1/2 a day if you want to drive to the scrapbooking store and go to lunch or dinner at Gray's. If you want more info, emal me. If this isn't what you were asking, sorry I misunderstood.

We won't be at the fair for the concert... but I hope you all have a wonderful time.. drink plenty of fluids because for some reason the 2 weeks of the fair are HOT!!!
The zoo if fabulous!! WE have a membership and love it.. Make sure you try to see the dolphin show in our new building and see the new oceans building and pet the sharks (small ones!) it's cool!!!! WE spend 30 mins, in there at a time..
As for LSS... in Avon westside of Indy on Rockville Road, US36: going west back toward IL you have a store just called the scrapbook store on the southside of 36 across from Hobby Lobby. Prior to getting to this area you will pass a Michaels/JoAnns (one on each side of the road). If you go further west to 267 & 36 you will see another scrapbooking store to the north side of US36. (can't think of the name off hand sorry)..

If you got South of Indy on I-65 @ Southport Rd. their is an Archivers on the east side of 65 on Southport.. LOVE this store!!! Of course on US 31 (head west on Southport Rd. several roads) you will turn South of US31 and can find a Michaels/JoAnns/Hobby Lobby. I'm not sure of any other stores.

Hope that helps a little.. I can get specific directions/address if you PM me...
