At the Indiana Jones show today, they did not do the part with the boulder at the beginning (which my 5-year-old has been talking about for weeks ). They said something about safety and check back later and then kept going with the show. Does anyone know anything about this? Might it be up and running tomorrow, or is this an ongoing problem?

I've never seen and would like to know as well

Running a show without specific effects happens all the time.
The alternative is to cancel the entire show (which does ALSO happen in some cases.)

We've seen Indy w/o the stone, without the airplane at the end, etc.

We've seen Fantasmic! without the dragon, without Mickey popping up for the fireworks,
without John Smith repelling/swinging across the mountain face, etc.

You just never know.

That happened to us once at one of the early shows. We stopped back later in the day and asked the CM if the Boulder scene was working and it was so we went to see it again.

Ok thanks! Was wondering if it's worth trying again tomorrow. Guess I'll just ask a CM if it's up!

Our first time seeing the show it had just rained, and they didn't do the stone part, either.

without the airplane, oh no.

I've seen this happen several times. At the times we saw, rather didn't see it, it was due to the weather. It was raining pretty good and they cut the show short with no plane ending. Safety issues I'm sure.

When we went in December they were having vehicle issues and skipped the whole first scenes and the skipped the fall off the roof.

When we saw it in March there was no boulder. Having only seen it once before decades ago, we assumed it was no longer part of the show. Good to know it's still there.

Weird, never heard that. They did have to scrap the entire last part of our show though because it rained during it and they said it wasn't safe for the actors. Still good though.
