Here in Canada we celebrate Canada Day on July 1st.
Like you Tiggerdad the bad news was I worked on Canada Day, the good news was I was paid time and a half. Hope you can say the same!

Like Tiggerdad and Boomer1, I am at work also. Lucky I had some time with the family to do some camping last week.

Hope you still enjoyed your independence day even with work. I was fortunate I could go camping, left Thursday afternoon and returned yesterday evening. Was a nice time but I could have used an extra day.

Happy Belated "Fourth" to everyone. I was unfortunate that I was not camping, however, I was not working (well at my job) either. I didn't get time and a half, but I did get paid for the holiday.

I spent much of the time getting the camper ready for a trip NEXT week. We aren't going to the fort (sadly) but we are going to Pigeon Forge in Tennessee then after almost a week there, we are going on to Nashville, TN where I am going to an "Army" reunion. So for me, it's almost as exciting as going to the fort.

We had a busted trip. We had planned to go to North Carolina, but weather, traffic, and rig issues caused us to cancel. Our towed seemed to have a short from the rain and in trying to deal with it we found the windshield leaking. We knew it would rain most of the weekend so we bagged it. Turned out to be good as our route up 85N was shut down for a tractor trailer accident.

Have the rig all setup to go to the shop. Hoping the warranty we bought should cover some of the issues.

Just want it ready for our trip to the fort for Labor Day. It will be hot but need a vacation now.
