Independence Air (flies out of Buffalo to MCO)

New airline and I just booked flights with them.

Anyone ever heard of this airline?
If so, what can you tell me?
Feeling nervous since they are new and I know nothing about them. I hope they even exist.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Independence Air is a wonderful little airline!

I flew them twice already...very good fares, they use those "50 passenger Regional Jets (made in Canada, no less!), very friendly staff.

They might have had some connection to United Express in the past (evolved from one of United's regional carriers) as Washington Dulles is a major hub for them.

The bottom line - thumbs up!

We flew Independence Air from JFK to Washington Dulles. It's a wonderful airline, very nice and efficient staff of people. The planes are clean and have very comfortable blue leather seats. We wanted to take an earlier flight than what we had scheduled, and they were very accommodating. No lost lugguage or any other horror stories.

All of us enjoyed the ride, and they can be assured that if we're ever out in the east coast, we'll be flying with them again. Unfortunately, their service doesn't extend to the west coast -- yet.
