If you still haven't picked up Incredibles and Cars in blu ray, Toys R Us is having a buy 1, get 1 dvd/blu ray 40% off sale, and it stacks with the Disney Movie Reward coupons and the 10 off for buying both blu rays. It is in store only, so it won't work online. Today is the last day for the extra 40% off. The total for both movies runs about 15+tax.

That is a good deal, I already bought them at Best Buy, with the price of gas, I think it'd be about the same deal for me.

Thank you for the heads up. BB was out of Cars when I went earlier this week. I picked them up at TRU this morning for $15.88. Considering we get free tickets (at least $8.50 towards them) for Cars 2, it is like we made money on this Blu Ray upgrade.

Where did you get the $10 off for buying both? I got the DMR coupons today but when I went to TRU it would still be about $35 for both so even after the $10 off you mentioned, it would come to $25 in my calculation...can you clarify? Thanks! If I get some guidance I'd consider going back to the local TRU tonight (they are always great about stacking discounts)...

Found it online.

Cars Blu-Ray at TRU = $24.99
Incredibles = $29.99

40% off the lowest one (that's what they usually do) is Cars, so Cars would be $14.99 (Cars) + $29.99 (Incredibles) = $44.98 - $10 = $34.98. Tax (at least around here) is calculated before any extra coupons are deducted. At about 10% here, tax would be $3.50.

$34.98 + $3.50 = $38.48. Deduct $18 in coupons = $20.48.

Not a bad deal.

I got mine on Tuesday for $25, including tax at Best Buy. At first, I wasn't sure if I was going to get it because they ran out of Incredibles but the store employee gave us his copy that he had saved for himself to purchase at a later date.

Oddly enough, our Cars DVD pack didn't have the sticker that said it had movie admission with it, but it's the 2011 version so hopefully it does. I remember the last one, we just entered the code and had to print out the ticket :P

With gas being the price it is ($4+ a gallon) and the time it would take to refund, etc., I think I'll just stick with my $25 Best Buy deal.

There was a sign at our TRU on the BRD display about the $10 off both deal.

We just got home from town and I was coming to post this deal! :thumbsup2

I, too, was expecting it to be about $25 - TRU had Incredibles advertised at $29.99 and Cars at $24.99, and I deducted the $10 for buying both plus my $18 in coupons = $27, which I would have been happy with.

Then, when I actually bought them, my total was $16.15 - here's how my receipt broke down:

Cars Combo: $29.99 - $12.00 (BOGO 40% off) - $3.40 (Cars promo?) - $5.00 ($10 off purchase when you buy both) = $9.59

Incredibles 4 disk: $34.99 - $6.60 (Cars promo) - $5.00 ($10 off when you buy both) = $23.39

Coupon - $10
Coupon - $8
Tax = $1.17
TOTAL = $16.15

My cashier was shocked and I was thrilled - he wanted to know where I got my coupons. :goodvibes FWIW, there were NO signs in store regarding the $10 off when you buy both, I just knew about it. AND, both movies were marked full price (Cars at 29.99 and Incredibles at 34.99, but they rang up correctly based on the ad). I was surprised it stacked with the B1G1 40% off, but I'm glad it did! That made the difference between what I expected to pay and what I actually paid!

Thanks, I sent DH out and I think they said it should be $22 plus tax for ours but I'm still pleased with that. If it comes out to be even less, so much the better. Eventually we'll have a Blu-Ray and now we have a start on things to watch! :thumbsup2

It DID end up being $17-something. I see what they did is take off the $10 and $8 AFTER all the other discounts, so it made a big difference. Yay! :cool1:

I got in on this deal. We also had a $5 off coupon for TRU. So, we ended up paying like 12 bucks for both movies! I was thrilled.
