Thursday morning found us awake at 7:30 am so we could hit MGM at opening-this would be one of the few things I planned. We started the morning off with a walk to PO for some beignets. They were delicious and PO is a very quaint resort. After a quick breakfast we caught the bus from PO and were headed to my DH's favorite park-MGM.

As soon as we arrived we headed to the kiosk to make Fantasmic Dinner reservations. We had not seen this show on our previous visit and after reading the DIS, I knew it was a must see. We wanted to eat at around 5:00 and the only restaurant with that time available was Hollywood and Vine. I don't particulary care for buffets, but the meal turned out to be quite nice and I felt is was a great value. We also had our picture taken at the entrance which we later purchased. When there are just two traveling, it is hard to get pictures togethet so we always seem to take advantage of these pics.

The day turned out to be quite warm and not crowded. We did RnR rollercoaster 3 times, ToT twice, muppets 3d, Indiana Jones, Great movie ride, and backlot tour. We skipped star tours this trip because the simulated rides always seem to make me sick. We had a great day and around 1:30 we decided to head over to MK for the afternoon.

At Magic Kingdom we did splash mountain, alien encounter, space mountain, and watched the parade (again-I love this parade.) We spent a lot of time taking pictures and just walking around. At about 4:30 we went back to MGM for our PS at Hollywood and Vine. Dinner was great and they had a very diverse selections of items. We also had fantastic service. At first I was thinking it would be all self-serve, but our server kept our drinks full, cleaned away our plates and provided some great conversation. He was born and raised in Kissimmee (sp?) and both his mom and dad are cast members at WDW-pretty cool!

After dinner we headed over to the Fantasmic Pavillion by way of the special entrance for Dinner package holders. We got there 30 minutes early and had incredible seats. I had no idea the magnitude of this show. The pre-show entertainment was excellent-the best part was when they led us in singing the Mickey Mouse Club Theme Song. It was actually quite moving to be with 9000 other mickey mouse fans. I felt like each and every person were old friends. I loved Fantasmic. I loved Fantasmic. I had to say it twice to really get your attention. This is a magnificent production and a must see. My DH was also very impressed and he is not a "show" guy.'

After Fantasmic we were pooped. We had been going non-stop for three days, so we decided to go back to DL and take a well-deserved nap. We got up at about 9:00 pm and decided to take a boat ride to DD. We were the only two on the boat and it was both peaceful and romantic. The view of DD from the water is unbelievable. We pulled up right at the Rainforest Cafe so we decide to eat there. We had an appetizer and a few beers and both were delicious. After dinner we did a little shopping and then grabbed a bus back to DL. Another magical day at WDW.

One day I'm gonna have to see Fantasmic. I keep hearing so much about it. Thanks for posting.
