increase in tax

Hi all....I was just obsessive-compulsively checking my ressie and found that I was not paid in full (although I have a confirmation saying I was!) It isn't very much...just around 4.00 but I was surprised to see it there. I called and they said it was some sort of tax increase. It's fine with me, except I was surprised to see it. Anyone else have this happen?

The same thing happened to us. Thank goodness you and I are alike in that we check everything all the time. I wonder if they would have cancelled the res if you had a $4 balance. I thought we were paid in full and checked a few days before the final was due and found that we owed like $12 something. Have a great trip.

Our cruise increased by about $4 after we booked it, too. On our paperwork, our travel agent had the new fee listed as a port tax increase, so I knew exactly what it was for.

I was also curious about the $1.56 increase for our 10/23/05 Wonder cruise. It is just "change", but was curious as to what it was.

I have a cruise in December and just checked it. It still shows paid in full. Is it for cruises starting in 2005?

must be a 2005 thing. Confal 1...I wondered the same thing about possibly getting cancelled, wouldn't that have been awful!? I am sure they wouldn't, but hey...who knows?

Anyway, still overwhelmingly happy to be going on our first cruise!

After making my reservation I was notified by DCL of increases. But I also got a $27 refund. I think the reason for the refund is the cancelling of Grand Cayman.

Start out for the port tomorrow morning for the 10/23 cruise.

If the 78 cent per person for PC is correct, I assume the $1.56 is for two people sailing out of PC.
