I was wondering if the seasonal and annual passes will increase with the expected ticket price increase?

If so, does anyone remember how much of an increase it usually is? I'm waiting on some Disney gift cards to arrive, and I'm hoping prices don't go up until I can buy them!

VERY likely these passes will go up this weekend (Sunday); so buy them BEFORE then. I bet they will increase by $30 per Seasonal pass. Good luck!

I know. Nothing is official until they announce it. The discussions about the increase could just be that everyone expects it to increase (like last year). They usually announce an increase late on Fridays to go into affect on Sundays. So keep your ears out on the discussion boards and sites like wdwmagic.com this weekend. If you don't have your cards delivered by Saturday, I'd say you'd save money by buying the AP's before your gift cards arrive (likely the Targte 5% discounted ones, I'm assuming). Unless you can't swing paying it twice, when in that case you might just eat the cost of the new price is all. Not fun, I know! Keep us posted on how it works out for you!

I'll keep this updated. I was actually able to score the gift cards for 10% off! So, I still should save money, but for all of this work I would lose 50% of what I was supposed to be saving if prices do go up. If prices go up it would have been better for me to stop at Target and just get the 5% off.

Thanks for the info, and I will keep my eyes open.

I wonder if you could go on the monthly plan and then pay off the remainder with the GC later?

And if you're buying a few passes, look into a Disney Vacation Account! Another $20 for every $1k you spend.
