Incorrect room reservation - what happens to my FP?

I have a 4 day RO reservation at a Disney Springs Hotel that offers the new 60day window for FP reservations. I checkin on 20th June and will be going to WDW over the next 10 days. Incorrectly they have also booked me for dates the following week - which is also showing when I login to the app. I have tried but cannot cancel the second reservation as yet. I'm obviously about to book my FP with the 60 day window approaching. When I do cancel the second reservation dates will I loose my FP booking for the time after 24th June? This is NOT what I've seen called a Throwaway room.

Secondly, I understand that I can book FP for the 4 days of my stay from the 20th June 60 days in advance. With new changes to FP, will the dates from the 24th June to the 30th June also be released to me 60 days in advance even though I'm not staying at the Hotel? Is this what is referred to as Rolling 60?

I dibt know about the second part, but I can’t see any reason why they would cancel your FP. You can cancel and alter your stay up until the paid in full date, and as long as you’re not actually booking FP for those days they should be fine.

We have 7 day passes so we will be booking FP past from the 20th to the 30th June.

As long as tickets are linked to your MDX account, you don’t lose FPs. All an onsite, DSprings, or Four Seasons reservation does is open the window.

I would expect that on your 60 day mark, you will be able to book FP for the length of your onsite stay. Then, for the days of tickets you have beyond your onsite stay, you should be able to book FP+ for each day 60 days ahead, one day at a time. So, Saturday April 21st is 60 days from your first day, June 20th. On April 21st you will be able to book FP+ for June 20th, 21st, 22nd, and 23rd. April 25th is 60 days from June 24th, so on April 25th you will be able to book FP+ for June 24th. On April 26th, you can book FP+ for June 25th. April 27th you can book for June 26th, and on April 28th you can book for June 27th.
