Incentives on offer

Hi all

I am from the Republic of Ireland so due to Irish laws if i wish to purchase DVC i need to Buy in USA. Therefore I was Planing to fly over for a couple of days in order to buy. Can anyone tell me what if any incentives are being offered at the moment and also is it possible to purchase in New York / Atlanta
as this would enable me to get a better choice of flights

To purchase directly from Disney, you would have to do as we do (we are in a province not registered to DVC):

1. Buy from a DVC sales center in Chicago, Walt Disney World or Disneyland
2. Buy resale (which you can do from anywhere in the world)

Good luck! You can still buy DVC. The process isn't as easy for us - as compared to how easy it is for those who live in the USA states registered to DVC - but it still workable.

Hi, I'm also from Ireland, grew up in Dublin but have been here for 24 yrs. I believe there is a DVC sales center in Long Island NY and you will be able to buy there.

If you are here for a few weeks you might be able to catch a really cheap flight down to orlando and back in a day if you really wanted to. You could probably get an early am flight down and late pm flight back. My guide is Susan Saunders and she is really nice. I would either email a guide before you leave and let them know your situation or call them when you get here and get things rolling. Good luck.

PS I just checked out southwest airlines and if you are here for a while you can fly from Long Island, NY to orlando round trip in one day for just under $220 on april 28th. The have a direct flight in the am 7:40 arrive 10:25 am then return that night lv orlando 7:55 ar Long island 10:30 pm. It's a lot to do in one day but if you want to get it done, it's an option.

You can purchase your DVC membership at Disney's Doorway to Dreams at Woodfield Mall, in Schaumburg IL (a suburb of Chicago and about a 20 minute drive from O'Hare airport). They also have a model of Bay Lake Tower for viewing. We purchased our points there and it was quick and painless.
