DH works for AB (now AB-IB) in St. Louis. We used to get 12 tickets a year to use at any Sea World or Busch Gardens. Not anymore. Now they are offering a discount but no free tickets. I think the employees of those parks still get free tickets but not the employees of the breweries. Bummer.
This should be interesting to see what happens to the Busch Garden parks. I live near Williamsburg Busch Gardens and the new change for next year is Sesame Street will be there.
Okay, please explain how Sesame Street fits into an amusement park that is based on Europe? I love Sesame Street but at "the Old Country"....hhhmmmm.

That's pretty interesting, I hadn't heard that. I don't see Elmo and Cookie Monster walking around BGW either LOL... Wonder what this does to Sesame Place in PA
We love BGW and go a few times a year, we have noticed though that it has gotten a bit run down and needs a major rehab in many areas.

Haven't heard that - any more details? I live about an hour from there, and we usually get the summer passes each year. I can't see that change - would seem very odd.
I saw the Sesame Street information on the Busch Gardens Williamsburg website a few weeks ago. It was in the upcoming attractions for the Spring of 2009.

We went to BGW last summer for the first time and both my husband and me commented on how clean we thought the parks were. It really is a beautiful place.
I had heard that "maybe" someone in the Busch family was going to be buying the theme parks. At least they would be owned by someone in AMERICA!
Can you tell I'm a little bitter at the sale of our beloved Anheuser-Busch to an overseas company?
The news here in St. Louis yesterday showed the new logo for "A-B/InBev". I just don't like it (not the logo, but the whole situation).
Those of us here in St. Louis have always been very loyal and protective of our Anheuser-Busch Company. I don't work there, but I know many people who do, and they are all worried right now about their jobs.
Anyway, I sure hope SOMEONE keeps up the theme parks!
