We also waited and waited for Allegiant to open up dates past the 15th, but finally gave up waiting and booked Delta for our dates Dec 9th-20th. Paid $242 about a month ago and since then those same flights and times are at $311. Don't know what kinds of prices you coming up with right now through other airlines, but with ours after all things being equal with Allegiant, we paid about $7 per ticket more through Delta than what we would have if Allegiant kept their $109 pricing the same if and when they ever do open more dates. Since we could pick our seats on Delta and Allegiant makes you pay an additional $11 to do that, it actually ended up being cheaper going with Delta, and the flight times were much better. We really wanted to try Allegiant and fly into Sanford, but got tired of waiting. Car rentals out of Sanford were much higher than what we ended up with out of MCO also, so that was a consideration.
