In what ways has Frozen Ever After impacted the rest of Norway pavilion?

I'm sure there's a reasonable answer to this, but every time I see the FEA lines I scream internally "WHY DON'T THEY USE A FASTPASS?!?!" You would never catch me in a line like that. I'm hoping a year from now it won't be as silly.

Those photos are frightening.

We were in Epcot on one of the first days it was open, and it wasn't until we got home that I found out there were these long lines. I don't know how we missed it. I wouldn't expect that to be the norm, though. We waited about 30 mins with FPs, but that was after shutdowns earlier that day and the day before.

So much for those wishing that Frozen isn't that popular anymore. I,m still a fan BTW.

I also loved the Norway pavilion before the change, but as we are currently on our way home, I am pleased with the editions! I am NOT a Frozen fan, but the ride is well done and the aesthetics aren't overwhelming! Get a FP or get there at opening of you want to ride it, but we were just there (on the 4th of July) and the crowds looked nothing like those pictures! Don't fret- my husband was very concerned about The Puffin's Roost as well, but they've kept all but one of the rooms more authentic! :)

I totally agree...except that to get a fastpass, you almost certainly have to be staying on site, probably more than a week, trying to book for the last day of your stay, while camped out online at exactly 6:59am Eastern time at the 60 day mark.

We did rope drop for the new Soarin on opening day (crazy, but not like FEA), because it was our last day of our trip. And the day they released FP (about 40 days out), the site wouldn't load from the rush at 7am. By 7:03, when the page finally loaded, there was no availability. "Well, kids, looks like we're getting up early..."

I am not sure about now, but I know that in the first days it was open, FEA broke down so any times that the stand-by line was closed. People waiting in the huge line did have fastpasses.

I was just in WDW last week, and didn't look to get my fastpasses until about 3 weeks prior (it was my first Disney trip in a decade and I was out of practice!). There was nothing available for FEA, and nothing became available as the trip got closer. In the end, we were still able to get breakfast at Akershus and the ride in by 9:30am, but those FPs must have been gone fast.

I scored a FP today for later in he day for my son and I! Pure fluke I know, but still, keep checking! I imagine someone had a FP but then still did rope drop or something thinking they better not chance it going down. We only booked our trip a couple weeks ago so I didn't have much hope in riding it. We were so lucky it wasn't down either at that time. We really enjoyed it, the queue theming was cute and I thought the ride was well done. Better than Arial's undersea adventure anyway.

I'm hoping Geir Ness products are still being sold in the Puffin's Roost.
I can confirm that Geir Ness's products are still sold in The Puffin's Roost. He's actually releasing a new fragrance today as a collaboration with Disney. Frozen in a Bottle, inspired by the film, will be for sale in the Norway Pavilion as well. He's in Epcot today 9-6 and Thursday-Sunday 12-6.

Oh, my. DGD, 5, is Frozen-obsessed. But if it's still like this come January I'm going to pretend Norway isn't on the map, even if it means we don't visit EPCOT!

We went on a cold, rainy, January day and the stand by line was less than 10 minutes. I guess there is an upside to really crappy weather

Just saw the dates on this, it's old, not recent. Never mind. Irrelevant now

Yes, I've been back to Disney a few times since I posted my question last summer.
I'm excited about the new Frozen perfume! :) I love all of Geir's products.
