Ann, so sorry it was such a washed out event!

We have been to parties when it rained cats and dogs, but that was in the summer, never at a time where the temperatures were lower!
But it looks like you made the best of it and got some fun out of it.

Can't wait to read all about your royal breakfast!

We did have fun at the party. Not sure we had $50 or so fun but... I can now check that off my list.

I need to export the photos I edited for day 4 and then I can do an update. My memory on the computer has been giving me grief though...so not sure if there is space available yet.

I remember that night! It was the night of our carriage ride. And your TR just got ahead of my TR!!! I need to download pics. We had quite a mix up with our carriage ride because of the rain.

It looks like Betsy and Zoe had the tea cups all to themselves! The rain was a bummer. But it's kind of cool the parade detoured right by you! Great character pics!

Betsy and Zoe just about did. I think that is why they were able to go on it repeatedly.

The rain did suck that night. I need to hop over and read your update. I want to know how the carriage ride went!

Thank you, I spent so much of the last couple weeks worrying what about the surgery and everything. It was so easy... and so relaxed. I am so happy.

We made the best of the party. I think meeting Betsy helped quite a bit. I doubt had we not that we would have seen Mickey and Cinderella... we probably would have just left.

my hair

So I promised I would get some pictures uploaded of my new do. How on earth teens get picture to turn out while taking them in the mirror is a bit confusing to me. This was not an easy project. Also.. I ended up needing to do a little head tilt. Why? Well, if I didn't I kinda had a zombie look on my face. maybe that is why teens do it too? I mean, smiling for yourself is a bit odd when looking straight in the mirror. Anyway... I have since learned that I like to flip out the ends a bit and pull back the center (so as to cover my balding top) These give you an idea though... my hair was down to the middle of my back..but really really thin and stringy..so even though I am bald on top... it appears a tad thicker over all.(maybe)
And before any of you are kind enough to say "oh no, you are not balding Ann" just look at the last two and you can see better. I couldn't take the pictures from the side my part was on because of just how bad it is. Hence why swooping it back is better.

So there ya have it... my new do...that is really much like most of my older shorter hair cuts...

Ok, enough walking down memory lane. I just had these sitting in my photobucket account and was feeling nostalgic. I wish I had more pictures of all my kids scanned into the computer. 21 + years ago we didn't even own a computer...so all of the pics I have of Kira are hard copy. Thanks for letting me share.

The castle does look amazing when its all done up for Christmas. I hope I get to see it someday.

Thanks for the stroll Ann! Love the family pictures. The boys in your family sure are characters! You are making me nostalgic as well... may just have to find some oldies of my kids and put them up. my son John had a habit of smiling is such a way that he looked like he was going to bite someone! I have tons of pictures of him like that I laugh now, but at the time I used to get so frustrated trying to get a normal smile out of him!

I am so glad things went so smoothly with Zoe! Too bad about mistaking Zach for the dad...but hmmm, does that make you a cougar?

I had tears in my eyes for Zoes, BBB pictures! All that she has been through this year, I am so glad that she got to be a princess!

All the fun you had with Betsy...makes me that my family revolved against my plans and I did not get to meet her! Now they are telling me that they would have gone...I wished I would have pushed them the last day!

Sorry about the rain...looks like you dealt with it the best you could and did not let it ruin your fun!

The BBB pictures of Zoe are so precious! She's a beautiful little girl and definitely, as you said, a princess!

LOVE the haircut and your self portraits made me smile. I don't know how the teenagers do it either (you needed to add one with the smirk/kissy face ) but I thought you did a good job!

I'm glad you got a good room at WL! I knew you were concerned all year about the resort being so much like home but it seems you were pleased with your room and location and for 11 nights, you needed to be!

And do I dare say it looks like the guys are having a good time, too?
