I would like to start a thread in which we highlight all the good things that have happened to make DVC better, more useful, or nicer than it was when we first joined.

For me, and this is DVC and DIS, I believe the sense of belonging to a group of people that love a particular resort here on the DIS has been an enhancement of DVC membership.
And as a result, people learn about it and appreciate it even more. And become friends.

And while I am currently having problems with it, the member website is better then the first method. Call and discuss or have them mail you statements of all activity. (Can you tell I have been a member a while?)

Calling at the 11-month window and being able to book your entire stay, WAY better then having to call day after day to add nights

Although I may not stay there for a long time (not enough people in our family!) -- I love the addition of the Treehouse Villas since I'm an SSR owner! Now, if we could just find some people to take with us that we could stand to vacation with ...

I like the ability to book based on check in day instead of check out day. I way excited about the GCV and Hawaii since we live on the west coast. I can't wait to try the THV at SSR, hopefully I can snag a couple of nights after our Wonder cruise in Nov.

The ability to stay in such wonderful accomodations and being able to vacation with my kids every year. If it weren't for the pre-paid vacations we would find reasons not to go.

Purchasing ANYTHING with a 35 plus life left (we bought BWV last year) is an affirmation for the future.

Hoping to take grandchildren on trips someday in the distant future.

Owners since 2000, very little to no disapointments in those 8 years. I'm looking forward to at least one night with my family at BLT to see the Fireworks. I think it will be awsome. I'm also very happy that I love OWK now just as much as I did when I made the decision to buy!

And, DH and I are going to WDW tommorrow! I called up this morning and was able to get SSR reservations for Fri and Sat using our new DP points, how cool is that?

I'm thankful for DVC period! Without it, I wouldn't be leaving tomorrow morning to see Mickey for the second time in 4 months!

I don´t know if I can post here as I am a very new owner.

But I want to thanks DVC for BLT!!!

I am so happy for that because being near to MK is a "must" for us.

So, that was the only reason we had to not buy DVC, as they did not have a MK Resort..............

And thanks to for GCV where we hope to own soon

I'm also a very new owner (BLT) so can't comment on how things were in the past, but I am very grateful to be a member and look forward to many years of wonderful holidays.

I'm grateful as well to all the kind/helpful people here on the DISboards. I've learned so much here and it's nice to know there are other Disney nuts out there .

I have to say tho I'm especially grateful to my wonderful husband for agreeing to purchase DVC even though he doesn't love WDW as much as I do

I am also a new owner. I am so grateful knowing that my vacations are paid for - for the rest of my life!! I am already taking an extra vacation in April that would never have happened without DVC. I am looking forward to years of Disney with my daughter and someday with my grandchildren.

I am also thankful that DVC will make vacationing in Hawaii more affordable for us.

I love when they offer DVC members special things like the Castle Suite Tour in Sept 2008-- and wish for more opportunities like this!!!
