Dream Night at Disney - Monday, June 29th Dinner at California Grill and one night at Contemporary with Theme Park view.

We really can't "afford" it, but, I finally quit smoking June 8th, 2015, after 30 years. I have tried before and failed but this one is permanent. I'm not proud that I ever smoked, but I am so proud that I quit. We really shouldn't spend the money, but this is one of those CHARGE IT! moments.

Rick is so proud of me that he wanted to surprise me with dinner at the California Grill and two nights at the Contemporary with theme park view because both the dinner and the hotel room are dreams of mine. A few minutes of reviewing the available rooms during my upcoming vacation shook him into reality and he decided to call me first before finalizing the reservation. We agreed on dinner at California Grill and one night at the Contemporary with theme park view. I am so excited! I can't believe in one week I'll be soaking in the Disney magic and I want to share.

It's probably a good thing I only have a weeks notice because I am so excited I can hardly think of anything else. Woo-Hoo!

So, Rick and I were debating going ahead and getting a park ticket to go to the Magic Kingdom while we are there because I have yet to see the new Fantasyland. So disappointed that the FL 4 Day pass is blacked out until August 13th! It is our best price option and I could have justified it. However, we don't want to get an annual pass yet, as we think we are going to go to Food and Wine and want to time an annual pass so that we can go two years in a row. So, we are going to spend the day at Downtown Disney shopping and eating at Bongo's as Rick really likes that place.

Has anyone been to the area recently? How bad is the parking situation? Also, if we get valet parking at Contemporary, can't we use it at Downtown as well?
