I had this very very yummy pastry. It was a "french" item and no one was trying it. I was online with a girl that worked there that was buying it to take back to her room. So I figured good enough for an employee to buy it it has to be good.
Oh and it was. It was almond in taste- and big and flat. But for the life of me I cannot remember the name. I checked the menu from allears and it's not on there.
ANYONE??? Oh it was heaven on a plate.

I looooooove the pithiviers! It's pronounced PitiviYAY. I asked :thumbsup2. I never go to WDW without getting at least one of these. It is my Epcot 'must-have'. I bought two in August and froze it in my freezer at SSR. They made the trip home just fine. I still have one I'm saving for my birthday next month. Hopefully it will be better than year-old wedding cake. :scared:

This the one?

Thanks for the info, too! I had bought one of these for my wife and I to enjoy back at the resort, and I could not remember the name. We want to make sure to get it again, as it was so good!;)

OH YEAH disney tripper that's it!! THANK YOU!

It is one of those things that I am now craving and have to have! Now to find a french bakery!

After reading this post, we decided to buy one this week while we are here. We usually buy the apple tart. It was delicious and huge, split it with my husband. Have bought it 2 times now. The lady in front of me was buying them too. A new favorite, thanks for the tip.
