I will be at DLR from Tues.4th (arriving in the afternoon) to Sat. 8 (leaving in the early afternoon).

So my only day to see Fantasmic and the fireworks is on the Friday. Is it possible to see both that night? If so where do I sit to watch? What time will the fireworks be? Fantasmic is it at 9pm?

We watched the fireworks from the same spot we viewed fantasmic. However, some of the fireworks show was blocked by trees, etc. However, the sound system was right there and we heard everything there was to hear.

I don't know if it's possible to effectively see both in one night although I'm sure some informed DIS insider has figured out a way...

But, if you had to choose, I would pass up the fireworks for prime fantasmic seating. Both of my kids jaws were sitting on the ground through the whole show. It was possibly the highlight of my trip to watch them watch fantasmic.

Good luck!

It is very possible if there are two Fantasmic showings and you go to the second one at 10:30PM. See the fireworks from the hub at 9:25, and then move towards Fantasmic thru Frontierland ASAP at 9:45 when they finish.

I was just about to post this same thing, as we have done it successfully in the past. But I honestly can't recall if they will have 2 showings of F! on a Friday night during the off-season. I'll do some more digging around to see if I can see what they offered last year.

EDITED: Just found the 2005 and 2006 Sept calendars which show that DL closes at 10 pm on Fridays after Labor Day (which seems crazy to me). So that would mean only one showing of F! that night.

SunDevilDaddy-where were you seated so that you could see both? I would rather have the better view of Fantasmic, but still see some of the fireworks.

What time is the fireworks? The park closes at 10pm. Will Fantasmic be at 9pm?

From what I have heard there isn't any ELP or Block Party Bash in Sept.?

You need to grab a center spot--somewhere between the entrance to POTC and the center light tower, preferably towards the front. In this area, not only are the majority of the blasts visible, you can see a portion of Tinkerbelle's flight. Everything shot off behind Toontown is clearly visable from here.

Thanks Iceskatejen!

Will I be able to hear the music that is for the fireworks in this spot?

Since the foreworks music is pretty much played from every place in the park during the show and this is considered a fireworks viewing area, yes--the music is played there. I've watched them many times from that spot.
