I did the 2.5 miles trail last night, I walked it. Did some thinking. I packed my bag to go again today.

QUESTION:

My sitter (19) is taking my girls to the beach today, she said her sister (39), and her sisters kids will be there also. Should I worry?? I have already told her a 100 times to watch them, to stay with them, to take their swim vest's.
Alexa only needs her vest if she jumps of the diving board.

OMG. OK I am freaking. I know calm down right? Would you let your kids go with the sitter????
 
just left a voice mail for the sitter to check in.

OK, maybe I am a little worried, but also sad, cuz I wish i was with them instead of here at work. YUK!

OH Well, its a nice day out and we have a holiday weekend ahead!!!!!!
 
Jo, I can so relate to that!! I would love to be at the beach rather than at my desk.

At least it's clouding up, and the storms coming through are supposed to break the heat a bit.

I got in my 3 miles at lunch... in 34:51!! Best time yet. My 2nd mile was 3/1s, and I threw in a 4/1 or two.

Almost done with work, fighting the erg to just go home and see the kids, I am dress and ready for the trail. I know I will do the 2.5 hoping for more.

Nothing new to report here. Work, Tuesday night dinner (I ate Jenny Craig and the rest of them ate sausage and peppers with macaroni and potato salads). Now I am addressing my Team in Training letters to my family. An e-mail blast will follow to those who have e-mail. Time to kick my fundraising int high gear.

Oh and I am off the night shift. The sub who was going to work postponed until next week. Whoo Hoo!

I did the trail again today, 2.5 walk/run its was hard but its been a good 2 weeks of no running. So I am happy that its done.

I just got tickets for Toy Story On Ice. I know I am a freak its like 8 months away, but I got a pre sale email and just could not help myself.

We ate dinner at 6:00 tonight :eek: Do you have any idea how EARLY that is for us? We're an 8:00-8:30 family. So of course by 9:30 I was hitting the fridge for a snack.

B: 1/2 cup tj fiber cereal (60) + 1/4 cup almond milk (10)
L: Large salad (50), Strawberries (30), Wrap: Joseph's pita (60), 1 serving turkey (50), 1/2 slice smoked gouda (40)
S: Blueberry Cottage Cheese Double (100) w/ sprinkle of fiber cereal (20)
D: Smart Ones pasta/ricotta w/ spinach (280), combined with 1.5 oz frozen grilled chicken strips (50), 3/4 zucchini, onion, mushroom (20ish for the veggies) all chopped and pan-fried with cooking spray.
S: 1 bag ff popcorn (200), sf jello pudding (60) -> TBE

Total, 1030
Exercise, 3 miles run/walk (34:51!), .5 mile walk (warmup/cooldown), 1 hr Pilates - 1 short run, done
Water, 64 oz.

I would much rather be sleeping or biking this morning instead of working. Just sayin.

I can't believe it's almost July.

We are finally getting some rain today and relief from the super hot temps. I may even get to do my short run outside tomorrow AM (assuming lazy a$$ gets out of bed).
