L: Bagel Thin (110), salmon spread (60), eggbeaters (30), shrimp/crab (50)
D: Leftover chilled seafood: 2oz shrimp (40), 2oz mussels (100), 3/4 lb crab legs (120), ear of corn (100), red potatoes (100)

Total, 710. Way under but believe me, made up for that yesterday.
Water, 64 oz.
Exercise, 45 min on elliptical, 1hr Pilates - 1 day xtraining done.
 
Well, I made it through another class. Did some crunches last nifty and I am hating life.
 
It is so QUIET around here lately......

It's that time of the month for me... UGH. You can tell because things that are normally way too sweet for me are soooo good right now, like that donut this morning :rolleyes1:rotfl: The thing that stinks about that though is that we are having our get away this weekend and going hiking on Saturday....oy. Hiking up a waterfall and cramps DON'T MIX!!! lol

I only knew about it because my friend had sent it to me. She is coming here in Nov to do a half with me (either OBX or City of Oaks), and I wanted an interim goal to keep me motivated, so it worked out!

I purchased the airfare last night ($212 RT, SW) so I am now 100% committed. :upsidedow

Chicago RnR sounds like fun. I'm going to try to start up training for the Princess this weekend. Since I don't want to upset my back, I'm probably going to walk most of it for a few sessions.

EE, do you have a training plan? I now know I can not run the whole princess and I don't think I can run walk the way Kat does either.

Why don't you think you can run/walk? If you are running straight through right now, you might want to start with a 4/1 or 5/1 interval? Where you run 4 min, walk 1.

I live for my walk breaks! :laughing: I have moved to a run 2 walk 1 in order to stay with the 12 min pace group. 5K time is now at 36:27 (tonight anyhow, which is best yet. 3 miles was 35:28).

So today I had a bit of an injury. My hand got smashed between a dresser and a falling bookshelf. :headache: I ended up with an x-ray. I don't *think* it's broken, but it's very swollen, bruised and sure hurts like a mother! :sad1:

I haven't written my food down today - I did a "mental journal" so it's time to face the music here and put it all down on paper. I'm afraid I haven't been too "on" as of late. But, my life will be settling back down into a normal level of crazy now, so there is absolutely no excuse for not journalling from here on out.

Kelly & Lisa - still watching the World Cup? It's on here frequently. I'm not really paying any attention, but Stephen and the boys are.

And the best news of all... MY DRYER IS WORKING!! (for now at least) I took it apart last night and took the circuitry into work, and they gave it a good cleaning and tested a bunch of the connections. Brought it home, put it back together, and voila!

Hmmm. My cousin passed away. To make a very long story short - he checked out of life a long time ago. He's the same age as me but has been an alcoholic (drugs?) since his teens. And started to avoid all of us many years ago. I've continued to ask about him over the years - where he just seemed to "disappear" from others' minds which pisses me off and brings up a lot for me. I have always wondered if my pedophile uncle - who got around - abused him as he babysat them - isn't he precious - even though it was the other side of the family. Sighing. I asked directly if it was suicide to my father but he didn't know. I want to put the effin' laughing icon here - the elephants that sit in all our rooms.

Anyway, I'm just sad. I certainly didn't have an adult relationship with him. But our family was always together as a group - you know like 30 for Christmas. :goodvibes . Those days. His brother was just up and stopped in three weeks ago and I asked about him - he was just frustrated with him and their relationship.

I don't know where empathy and compassion is in this world. People aren't born wanting to check out of life. Why does no one seem to understand that?

Anyway, I could talk all night. I was just over on the CB where a poor mother is in a situation where her BIL is a pedophile yet her husband thinks it's okay to live on the same land as is M and F and pedophile brother. :sad2:

And on other lovely news. The G8 and G20 are here momentarily. The first in cottage country. The second smack dab in downtown where it looks like the friggin' Indy. :lmao: Fences are up everywhere. I have the change my outlook. I do have the book, I have had that book for months. I just have not read it yet.

Kat, I think I am going to try the 4 min run /1 min walk, but for some reason I thought that was Miles not Mins. DUH! I did better on the TM then I did outside, so back to the Treadmill for me.
