I love love love biking.

Just thought I would share - down 8 lbs since the first of the month.

:woohoo: way to go on the weight loss EE!! What a great feeling!

I absolutely adore biking. Adore it. Our ride was just shy of 20 miles today, and the miles just flew by. Ah, but back to reality now. it's just 2 hours till we head out with a trailer full of animals for the weekend. I'm sure I'll have more than my share of indulgent fair foods - fried dough, loaded baked potatoes :love: yum.

I just eat (for a snack) a 240 cal bag of Peanutbutter MM's.:scared1:

Yes I know in my right mind that I need to loose some weight to make the running better. (still at 180lb, and I am short 5'2") But then I was reading some menu's on allears and I was getting hungry, I had to go to the bank for work and well I stopped and got some MM's. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME.

I did so good on WW for 3 months and now SUCKVILLE.. (cry):sad1:
I have to get back on track.

By the way, reading the menu's for disney..... I am getting very excited. Feb. will be here before you know it!

Other than Meg & I, is anyone registered yet?

Well I feel like Ive just sat down for the first time in days! Im so ready for a little holiday! Yes, there will be cake and fish & chips at the seaside but also MILES AND MILES of walking! I figure the miles I walk should work in my favour with the amount of food there'll be :lmao:

Have I mentioned I am in the weeds?

I finally got a run in today, 2 miles in 25 min and some warmup/cooldown. My shin feels okay so I will probably try the 10 miler on Sat before heading to the beach.

Hope everyone's life is going better than mine.
 
Need a weed eater Kat? Still looking for tons of employees. Agency isn't sending us applicants. I need to do 40 interviews to get 15 if I am lucky. Not horrible, but not fun either.

Yup, definitely. One with large, horrible blades that do lots of damage to everyone in my path. Not that I am bitter.

I hear you on the applicants. I have 3 interviews tomorrow. We are getting a lot of waaaay too qualified and quite a bit of desperate thrown in for good measure. Makes me feel bad. I would agree on the ratio, though. We will probably screen at least 10 qualified applicants before settling on 1 hire, and that doesn't even count the unqualified ones I will never see.

Menards has some really gnarly looking ones that are yellow plastic. They have huge chunks like a saw blade. That would work. I bet you get a ton of unqualified applicants.

Nice. We don't have Menard's, though. :)

I have given up this time around and am using a technical recruiter to find candidates, so at least the ones I see are mostly qualified. I don't see the fun resumes anymore, though. :laughing:
 
Asthma update... less frequent coughing but it's still really intense when I do cough. I almost threw up due to the coughing today. Doing one more round with the inhaler and then if I'm still coughing the doctor wants me in for a chest x-ray. Hoping it clears up more tomorrow.

I'm completely exhausted so there's been no running and my attention span is zero. Hopefully I'll be back on here tomorrow with more up beat stuff to say.

But I am with it enough to say... tomorrow is Friday! :banana:

as for me.... my knee hurts pretty bad, today is to be cross training and 4 miles tomorrow and next Saturday I have a 5K with run club.
I can not do the stairs right now, its hurts to much. I did ice my knee last night. I just hope this gets better fast and it does not have everytime I push myself.... If it does I may have to train to walk the whole 1/2 but I don't want to do that. I like the walk/run.
 
Ahhhh, the last few hours are finally winding down. Due to my company being bought, today marks the final day for a few that I work with. It has been a very negative summer. I will miss several, but I'm just glad we can move on. We are losing an exec in the mix that I liked alot. I hate good byes.

Dealing with a bum knee all day, so today is rest.. Maybe pushups and arm weight

I am going to go for 4 miles on the treadmill today, I have to see how my knee is.

4 miles run/walk on the treadmill is done. in 62 mins

So this week was
Run 2 Monday
Run 3 Wednesday
Run 4 Saturday

I am happy with that, but 13.1 seems so far away. Today was hard. Not sure how I will get up to 13.1 but I am not giving up.
