Does this help to tide you over for a few weeks? So tired, but can't sleep.

Wow, after a bit of editing, I am dozing. Comments later when it is daylight.

:rotfl2: Funny picture EE!

56 miles done!

:woohoo: I am constantly in awe of you Paula. :lovestruc

Family reunion today with Stephen's mothers side of the family. Crazy, big family. She has (and I'm not exaggerating) 75 first cousins. seventy-five. His dad, on the other hand, has no first cousins. not a one.

HI All,

Kat, how are you feeling today? Any better?
Once you get the socks let me know how you like them. (plus winter is coming so with pants on while you run no one will see them)

Nancy, sorry for the stress, & pms. How was the reunion?

Paula, I am just amazed by you. Great Job:worship:
Do you notice a differance with the new bike?

Amiee, any sport outside in that weather would be nuts, but football with gear. OMG. Thankfully it was only 20 mins.

Kelly did you enjoy the birthday party ?

Girls had a blast at the lake,it was a very nice weekend, we even stoped at an outlet mall on the way back. I got 1 pair of running shorts. (Not that I have done any running all weekend):rolleyes1

I think playing in the waves is crosstraining, and had to do at least a mile at the mall.
Now on to showers laundry and unpacking.

Wow, it is miserable outside. Almost as bad as yesterday. I attempted to get some outdoor exercise, but that only went so far. Came back inside and worked on core.

Hello ladies! So it's 10:17 San Francisco time and I'm in the airport waiting for my 11:55 flight(it will be boarding shortly.) That's right we're taking the red eye. Absolutely crazy!

I have lots of stories and pictures to share after I catch up on sleep! Hope you all had a great weekend!

Moring All!

Amiee, I hope your heat breaks, we are in the mid 80* this week.

Have a safe flight Meg, you should be home by now. Hope you had a great time.

Back at work. YUCK, Lots on the To Do List.

Hold on to your hats..... I did 2 miles on the treadmill today BEFORE work. (15 min mile) I have not done a run before work in a while. It was alittle hard. I just have to get back in the swing of things. At least I can say 1 short run for this week is done!:yay:

Have a great Monday All

So in the weeds today... Miss you all and am thinking of you often to keep myself from eating like there is no tomorrow. Hears Dude Looks Like a Lady this morning and immediately thought of riding Rockabdroller Coaster with my goddesses! It made me smile. :goodvibes

Back to work for me. I'll have a proper post at some point, just don't know when.

Safe travels Meg!

Paula, hope you find the weedwacker soon!

I have a secret. I have never been on Rock n Coster.
I have been to chicken. Whats it like

I too am drowning in a sea of busy-ness. This is 4H Fair week, so we are straight out crazy here AND taking care of our friends animals whilst they are in Kelly-ville for 2+weeks. In-freakin-sane around here. But, as usual, a good crazy so not really complaining. :goodvibes

Hears Dude Looks Like a Lady this morning and immediately thought of riding Rockabdroller Coaster with my goddesses! It made me smile. :goodvibes

yeah. those were good times. can't wait to do it again :goodvibes

Jo - seriously? never? do you like rollercoasters? or Aerosmith? I ah -DORE RnR - I just wish it was significantly longer than it is.

Meg- Welcome back to the east coast. Can't wait to hear about your trip!

As I have already stated, I have issues.
When we went in the fall, the one thing I ddid out of my comfort zone is , I went on Thunder Mtn. for the first time, I was freaking. I don't know why, when I was younger I would go to six flags all the time and ride all the big coasters there. Now I get all scared:scared1:. My DH went on RnR, and Alexa when on ToT, yes my just turned 5 year old when on ToT. No way would I have done that :scared1:

Have you ever been so tired that you can't sleep? Well that is me right now. This week was supposed to be me working the 11:00pm - 7:00am shift to cover for one of my inspectors. I had planned for it and was sort of looking forward to it since I could catch up with my to do list without much distraction. Last night went smoothly and was feeling good when the day shift started strolling in at 6:30. Had a quick team meeting at 7:30 and them headed home for some food and some sleep.

I am not home but twenty minutes and my phone is ringing of the hook. Major issues at work and the managmenr team needs me to crunch some numbers and get a report to them for first thing tomorrow. Crap! I take a three hour power nap, help a friend unload tables and chairs for a fundraiser /BBQ at the house and them hgo back to the office. I just got home at about 9:00 and yet I can't sleep. My body is just all sorts if screwed up. I have no idea what I have eaten when other than I ate something every 4-5 hours. Just couldn't tell what was breakfast, dinner, etc and really does it matter?

I just want sleep in something longer than 4hours at this point.

Cute Amiee. :goodvibes

I know, eh? Way to go Paula. :cheer2:

HI All,

I think playing in the waves is crosstraining, and had to do at least a mile at the mall.
.

I don't know about the cross training but it sure is FUN! :yay: :rotfl2: I AODRE it. Nice Jo.

Probably yes on the cross training - I was sore the next day playing in them in Vero Beach and here. For hours though. ;)

Wow, it is miserable outside. Almost as bad as yesterday. I attempted to get some outdoor exercise, but that only went so far. Came back inside and worked on core.

Hope it lifts Amiee. It did here today. Yesterday was like an oven - then we had some wicked storms and voila.

Yeah, can't wait. I already sneaked a peek on FB.

Back to work for me. I'll have a proper post at some point, just don't know when.

Safe travels Meg!

Hope it gets better Paula.

Me - I've been cleared for surgery. On Friday I was cleared. That's if I don't kill a transplant team member first. I so love them. Crazy makers. I don't want to say anymore or I'll lose it. :goodvibes I suspect there will be an issue - long story - frustrating conversation today about a test that hasn't been fully looked at despite me being cleared. Don't even try to understand. :3dglasses

My mom. Sighing. She finally saw the cardiologist today. She needs the valve replaced or she'll pass. However, there is a possibility that open heart surgery could progess her dementia issues rapidly. SIGHING. (my Dad asked that - God love him for becoming more assertive for her and actually in the room. He would be in any room with her but she scares him with "no".:sad2: ). The cardiologist wants to go ahead regardless. And quickly. Thinks that is best. As does my mom who is still lucid and knows where she's at and she LOVES the doctor. :sad2: :goodvibes He even mentioned that some of the pretest could cause strokes. I'm trying not to think about that b/c I know he simply has to tell the worst that could happen. I know that's all it is. So they all want it.

But I guess dying from no blood flow is devastating. I don't know. Open heart surgery sounds brutal to me. The doctor, my mother and my father want the surgery. I would choose - forget it - I don't know....I thiink I would just want to live out my life instead of the surgery but then again you would think - is a massive heart attack coming soon? I don't know.

Mom is funny. She's still telling me - do you know a pig valve only lasts 12 to 15 years? I got it again tonight between her lovefest for this doctor. :rotfl2: Once again I said Mom how long do you want/expect to live? :rolleyes1. LONGER than that she says. I say my head hurts.

Love to all. :lovestruc

Here are my parents from their 50th anniversary banner - Jean did this up a few years ago. It's not the best of my father - he was way better looking than this picture but I love it of my Mom. She - well she's obsessed with her choice in lipstick. :rolleyes1 read I'm so not her daughter - laughing. I bet she hates the black and white because she ADOREs her red hair. :rotfl2: (That none of us got :goodvibes)

Lisa, :hug::hug::hug:
I know how you feel, in November & January my dad has heart sergury. The waiting and the worry does suck I will not lie to you, but for him he feels so much better. He had a tripple by pass. It has saved his life, or has given him more time. It was a hard few weeks on him, but sooooooo worth it.

how old is your mom? My dad was only 57, I will pray for you, and your mom and dad. The surgury really is the best thing.

Paula, I hope your sleepeing:hug:

Meg, Trip Report

Erika, Kat, Kelly, Ronda, Amiee, Nancy Happy TUESDAY!

Morning ladies!

Back to work today. I almost forgot what humidity was like while I was in San Francisco.

I hope you all have a great day, I'll be back with trip details later.

Happy Tuesday!

Looks like it was a pretty quiet day here. Will post more when I get home. Football practice then a quick core workout.

hi team!

Sorry no posts from me. Work is insane and I am still recovering from my Sunday - Monday workathon.

Hopefully, things will get back to normal soon. Haven't been to the gym or to JC yet this week. Ugh...

How is everyone else doing?

It seems it was very quiet around here today. Looks like I'm heading back to the doctors. Today I used my inhaler three times and took my medicine and I was still coughing so bad that I couldn't breath. Things are not helping and the cough is getting worse, not good.

Lisa- First... your mom is beautiful, so are you, you are her daughter at least in that respect.

You have a lot on your plate right now and I could say a lot but I will just share that I admire you. You handle things with such strength and you are amazing. I wish I was better with words tonight but I'm sending lots of love your way.

Oh and I was wearing my Roots Toronto shirt that I got years ago on my trip to Toronto. Totally thought of you during my day today.

I will catch up with more of you tomorrow when my brain is working again! I think I'm still on California time, so blame San Francisco! :grouphug: to you all!
