No, it's not mine. :lmao: Unfortunately. :3dglasses

Couldn't resist Nancy! Isn't it wild?

Good Morning (Middle of the night?!) Everyone!

So Im not working today, so it stands to reason that I would wake up at 6.30am!

Kelly , I just about peed my pants reading this.
I do get threaded, eye and lip. OMG it hurts but they look so so so good after.
and YES its feels like they are threading my face off too. :rotfl2:

hope the little one is better in time for the wedding. Hey when are we going to see a pic of that dress?

Your LIP?? You have your lip threaded? How does it not pull your lips off your face?!

I think I'll post pictures on Sunday - that way there will be other people on the photographs instead of just me! :rotfl:

OMG you people with your waxing and threading.

I don't have facial hair and have to dye my eyebrows to even have any. My body hair is practically transparent (goes with the skin) except for halfway up the calves and down is dark/gray and fine, and then the other normal shaving areas are the same.

Im the same Kat - pale skin, pale everything else! I just decided that for the wedding I would have my eyebrows tidied up. Never again!

LISA- Fantastic loss :cool1:
And Ive said it before and I'll say it again - your pictures are amazing! Such an eye!

Everyone - Hi :lovestruc

As Im up so early it seems a shame to waste the time, so Im going to go on the thigh trainer!

Have a great day everyone! :cool2:

Mid 70s... that would be about 4AM here?

trust me. It wasn't one of those "glorious, cool, refreshing" mid-70*s mornings. It was exceedingly humid, which is way more of an issue for me than the temperature.

OMG - what a freaking week this has been. Can't wait for tomorrow to be over with. Work has been stressful without being crazy which is kind of strange. A lot of little things to deal with but the quantity of little things is quickly approaching overwhelming at this point.

is it something in the air up here or what? I've been having that same kind of wear-me-down-until-you-break week. TGIF.

Kat - inspiring. Just saying.

WORD!

Lisa - just when I think I know a fraction of all the greatness that is you, you go and inspire me all over again.

DOUBLE WORD! :goodvibes

So Im not working today, so it stands to reason that I would wake up at 6.30am!

:headache: Figures, doesn't it. I hope you enjoy your day off. Be careful on that thigh trainer. We don't need any limping bridesmaids! ;)

I can not wait til the work day is done.

I stopped Weight Watchers online and I am now tracking food on Nutrimirror.com. LOVE that website, I am tracking calories and I am liking that better. You can even track you workouts. Which I will track when I get off my butterpants and do a work out. The website is FREE!!!

You may already know this but the Princess 1/2 is the end of Feb this year.

I am very excited about the 15K down town. This race will be the indicator if I can do the 1/2 or not. I printed that training plan and I am going to start the week. That means no excuses, if DH is not home in the AM I have to get on the treadmill. I read the website for the princess.
I love what is said.

"There comes a time in every woman's life when she must blaze her own trail. A time when she has to run, not from an evil stepmother, but to her moment of glory. A day when the true princess inside of her shines through"

Please remind me of this when I start to slack off. I want to finish this race more that I can even describe. But for some reason I am crippling myself from starting to train from the fear of not finishing.

I know I know, as I have said before I know I have Major ISSUES

Jo, you can do the half. You will ROCK the 15K!!

Nancy, yes, there must be something in the air because this week has SUCKED. Like to the point I gave up today at 4:30 and went home because the alternative was likely not a good thing.

Hopefully tomorrow's run won't follow this trend.

Food for today:
B: Coffee
L: (at 5PM, have I mentioned this week has SUCKED??) Mini cheeseburgers (280), popcorn (200)
D: Mac&cheese (260), ff pringles (40), spinach/artichoke chicken breast (200), special k bar (90)

Total, 1070. 6/7 tracked and under 1200 - goal done
Water, 96 oz. 6/7
Exercise, rest day.

Kat, sorry you had a suckfest of a week.

Tomorrow run with be great, Hey evey time you get back from your run you say how much you love the Gallaway Group. and how happy you are you joined, so from what I read, your runs are not work for you at all!!!!

Jo, you are so right.

What is worrying me is how to get in the 14 miles.

The Galloway group is only scheduled for 10, and they are hilly. It starts at 6:30. However, I have two options: wait and do 4 when we are done (~9:45AM and HOT), or get up early and do 4 before.

The 2nd seems like a no-brainer. But, I don't know the route of where we are going, plus at 5AM it is dark here. So I would have to do them in my nborhood (which is only okay lit but at least I am familiar with it), and then have a 15-20 min drive plus waiting around to start in between miles 4 and 5 that way. Not even sure that counts as 14 miles...

has anyone ever warned you about my whistle? :confused3

Nancy, yes, there must be something in the air because this week has SUCKED.

It has. Big time. I have had a major head ache all day. The kind where caffine & advil don't touch it. bleh.

What is worrying me is how to get in the 14 miles.

no matter how you get them in, it counts in my book. I would probably split the 4 myself - do 2 before the group run and 2 more after, in hopes that I could convince someone else to run those 2 extra miles with me. (which would be easier than convincing someone to do 4 extra!)

heading to bed soon in hopes that this headache will be gone in the morning.

I like Nancy's Idea,
2 before and 2 after.

Umm why are you doing 14 any way, you should be ready to taper for the RnR half right??

Add me to the headache list. Excedrin piggy backed with a cappuccino. Used my phone to track walking and we logged nearly 7 miles at the zoo, nearby park, and exploring downtown yesterday. Forgot to use it today. I have some awesome pics that I will post this weekend. The exhibits look amazing. Our zoo at home is so run down. In fact, I am terrified to go near the big cats. I adore tigers, but they look like the are casing the place to escape. Indy's is compact and well maintained. Mr Tiger was only about 10 feet away at one point - no fear of him escaping . Well I gotta hit the bed! Later taters.

Headache, check. This Galloway thing is probably a diet-saver for me because last night would have been FULL of hammered otherwise.

I am doing 14 because I didn't get this high and I would like to before the half... next week is taper week. :) Likely 10 or less.

Not sure if it's the right thing to do, but oh well. I'll find out!! I asked the vets in my group and they agreed that this works, as long as I don't increase my weekly miles any further (like add to weekly short runs). This isn't at race pace, it will be about 2-3 min per mile slow.

Actually, I emailed my pace group leader and she is going to do the extra 4 with me at the end, so problem solved.

Hot, sticky, and gross here. Heading up to the lake . Will check in from there. Missing you all!

Morning All.

Good luck today Kat.

Amiee, have you ever been to our Brookfield zoo?? They just re-did the tigers and bear exhibit, it is awesome now.

Erika, its a hot sticky mess here today to.

Going donw to run my 2 miles on the treadmill. Following the 15K training program.

Happy Saturday.

Humidity bites. That's all I'm sayin'.

Pray for me people. I'm off to the beach today for a family gathering at my parents house. <sigh> Just hoping they are all on their best behavior today.

Kat - hope your run is going well

Cathie & Ronda??? Where are you? What has happened to you ladies? :confused3

Humidity *definitely* bites. 82 and 87% humidity when we started our run at 6:30AM. Humidity never let up, either. We have already had a big t-storm in fact (at about 11:30).

It was absolutely horrid, but it's done and over. The 10 miles was about 2:44, and it took almost an hour to do the 4. Two of my pace group leaders and another girl did it with me, and we mostly walked. It sprinkled on us once or twice, and it was a hilly course and all concrete sidewalks. Blech.

I rarely drink more than 1 10z bottle during these long runs, and I probably had 50+ oz.

Everyone I talked to said it was a brutal morning, though.

Now, a nap, and the couple that moved here from MA is coming over for dinner.

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

What a day... We did 38 mikes this morning and I am not quite over it. Hot and sticky was putting it nicely. It is done which is good.

Kat - whoo hoo on the 14 miles!

Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend.

Happy Sunday

The girls has a sleepover with a cousin at their house!!!!!:cool1:
WOW, that was nice, DH and I went to a Hibachi Steakhouse, YUM
Where I had a few ok 3 large classes of wine,

However I did get my butterbutt on the elliptical today, where I have now sweated (is that a word?) out the wine!

Off to get ready to go get the girls.

It was a nice night, but I sure miss my little monsters. (don't tell them I said that)!
