In Search of My Body vol.9 - I Get By With A Little Help From My Friends

No I dont have one,.I am sure I can borrow one from my girls
On the shirt i will take an XL short sleeve r we wearing these for the race or after

We wear them for the race, then the free race shirts after the race to park tour, then we go home, chill, and wear drinking shirt that night.

Those aren't rules, per se! Just our crazy schedule!:rotfl:

Liz, l am lovig the schedule.
I can't thank u all enough for letting in ur group and helping me reach my goal
Of crossing the finishline

I'm in Kindle love.

Getting so excited for the half marathon. :goodvibes

OKW vs SSR. I'd say it would be nice to not have to deal with driving. Especially if we hit a beer stand as soon as they open at 11am. :rolleyes1
And I haven't stayed there before, so I could cross another Disney resort off my list. But really either one is good.

I will need to get a new tiara. D has taken over mine.

I plan on some core later today.

Oh, that just made my day. Thank you!

I want to bring u all a bit of.chicago. have any of u ever ha# or heard of
Fannie may candies or frango mints

I ADORE Frango mints! They were the favor at my wedding! Little boxes of four each. My family is from Chicago and the suburbs. Most of them live in the burbs now but we still have some aunts and cousins in Chicago proper.

Kat lived there, too - did you know that? So cool!

Not just that, I will be in Chicago tonight! Granted, only for about an hour and 20 min if all goes well.... :)

Yup, my family (my mom's side) is from Dune Acres, IN--less than an hour from Chicago, so I am familiar, too!

Personally, and yes I know I shouldn't have a say :rotfl2:, I would switch over to OKW.

One, like Erika said "huge".

Two, HUGE difference in the living area - SSR two bedrooms living areas are not big - weird. This is the area that you'll be hanging out.

We had 13 having breakfast at OKW one time - no issues. We had 13 - the same trip eating pizza in a SSR two bedroom - cramped.

I ADORE building 45 - lots of bus noise but right on the canal.

And of course - transportation options for race because race resort.

AND - you stil have DD.

Lovely walk on the path or boat.

SO I would do OKW.

God I hate jealousy. :3dglasses

Oh! Tiaras! We can't forget about tiaras! Jo and Meg--do you have one? Last year I ran the entire 13.1 with a tiara on my head! Others just put theirs on after the race, but I am a Goddess to the core! Ha! :rotfl2:

by "others" were you referring to me? :confused3 Because you know darn well that my head must be completely un-adorned.

Actually, I may look for a smaller, lighter one. Mine is rather heavy. And it gives me a headache. I am *so* not cut out for this princess thing!

It is!!! I blame your Amish!

sorry. :rolleyes1 But misery truly does love company.

CAKE. WORD!

which now reminds me I must update my mp3.

Oh, there's so much else. Tiaras, drinking shirt, we haven't even gotten to the Vera Bradley (except for Kat, of course). :lmao:

Or the underwear. Who did I have that conversation with.. Victorias Secret changing the cut on the underwear. E, was that you? And perhaps the cutie? :cutie:

Um, ok, pace....holy crap! That is your R/W pace? What are you running at? Because you are averaging 10:45. Now who's Speedy McSpeedster???

my pace varied. Walking was anywhere from 4.0 - 4.2 and running was anywhere from 6.0 - 6.8. I'm physically very comfortable running at a 6.2 but the mental games I must play on the TM. :headache: So I tend to run some kind of intervals instead. BUT. That was under a 6 mile run! That's less than half the distance I'm going to have to do for the princess.

Both are very valid points Amy.

Which brings me to another question. Remember the bag check fiasco I had last year? Of course you do. How could you forget that. It was the start of the fib-athon :rolleyes1 Well, what I'm wondering is...where are the lockers at Epcot? Inside the ticketed area or just outside? Because the bag that they give us to check is so small, I'm wondering if it's possible to access the lockers before the race, stash extra clothes, etc then go pick them up on our way into Epcot and freshen up in a bathroom? Am I over thinking this?

Ok. Must attack my to-do list.

And the OKW second bedroom will be a studio which is fantastic for hiding from the pipsqueak when she gets ridiculous with her Mary Poppins morning.

You could hide and eat too - kitchenette.

Isn't that lovely of me? :rotfl2:

SHE lovingly provides the accommodations and I school you on how to hide from her in the mornings.

OKW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For sure.

I just reminisced.

THE BALCONIES AND DRINKING.

I so hate jealousy. :rotfl2: ;)

Lisa you indirectly brought up another great point in that OKW studios have TWO BEDS. No pullout.

Oh good points! I think I may call MS and switch us to OKW.

And I so AM Mary Poppins in the morning! OMG, remember when I ran the stairs at POR while Liz and Kat slept?! I had to bring them coffee before they got out of bed so they wouldn't hate me. :lovestruc

Underwear! Ha! Yes, Nancy, that conversation about the new cut of VS underwear was with me and the cutie and sister. We all had the same VS underwear! Hi Lar I ous!

And Nancy--last year we changed in the parking lot and then freshened up in the bathroom in Norway. That worked well, no?

Yes good one Kat!

Yes I THOUGHT of that. Great for you guys. But I didn't post it because I hate OKW studios so I couldn't type how great the two beds are. I so love the couch. But for you guys -,this situation - FANTASTIC.

Hi Kat!

I miss you on my TR. :surfweb: I'm dying over there so I can't wait for you to return.

Yes I know I've been lousy over here. But regardless. :goodvibes

?

Let's just be clear - GOD is lovingly providing me with this operation.

Why?

I would be in jail.

I would SO be in jail. :rotfl2:

Pipsqueak in PANIC!!! or PUMMELLED PIPSQUEAK.

Your choice in headline.

Really.

I generally love the couch too, if we are staying in the studio alone and not one as part of a 2-bed. In this situation having the two queens would be awesome.

I am still in TX, returning today. Flight is at 5PM, get into RDU at 11:30ish, then I head to Charlotte for the weekend tomorrow.

So, life won't return to normal until Monday, which I thankfully have off!!
