Got in just under 4 miles tonight. Celebrated my sister's birthday, baked a cake, peanut butter rice crispy treats and another bar treat to bring to my work party tomorrow.

I'm not even going to tell you guys that I have all my Christmas shopping done and 95% of it is wrapped, has been for a few weeks. Nope, won't mention it.

On that note I'm off to bed.

My hubby is to get the gift for his father, thats it.. and that the last gift I need to get. We have already had christmas dinner with my family. So I have wrapped most of my stuff also. However, I am still waiting for some things to come in via UPS.

Rob - When I first came here about seven/eight months after they started I was so confused day after day that's the first thing I did - A GREAT BIG CHEAT SHEET. And back then they did IM AOL so you really needed one. So do it - it helps. Good on the finals. Must feel wonderful.

Meg - Oh the relaxing and Christmas lights comment. And great on the hair. Pictures please. I ALWAYS know when I look at myself in the mirror about two days before I get sick. Always know. Exhaustion first and there we go. Sleep is a miracle. Did you hear that Jo?

Paula - I must go back. I'm curious if you still have plans for a change in residence.

Ronda - your post to Nancy reminded me of Meet me in St. Louis which I just caught this week. It kills me to no end the writing - the lack of what's okay to say - the times. I love that.

I ran this morning. Dodging ice patches makes for slower going. It makes me REALLY aware of my foot placement. Closest I came to falling was during the cool down walk back to work. Not paying attention. Hope no one was watching ; )

Oh. I nearly forgot to mention some really fun stuff.

First, Becca had her choral concert tonight. She totally rocks, that kid. Tomorrow she needs to be at school at 5:30 am . Previously we were told 4:30 am, but they got a reprieve . Our high school is being featured on a "Cool Schools" segment of the morning news and the Chamber Singers (the elite choral group) will be performing live somewhere in the 6:00am range.

And, Nate got his first college acceptance letter the other day. Don't know if he'll choose to attend this one, but it's always great to know that somebody wants you to come to their school

And, Saturday Seth comes home

And speaking of talent that I'm jeaous of -

Kat - you're almost through. I must say it must suck big time to be surrounded by so many of us who ADORE it. You're almost there.

Hi - quick post for me tonight. I was supposed to have a quiet night of relaxing but spent most of it in my office catching up on some overdue paperwork. I got in the zone and went with it. Who needs to still find a Christmas gift for their sister? Oh yeah - me. Oh bother...

Lisa - yes, I am feeling the need to move but need to check the finances to see what my options are. I suspect I may have to pull way back on my training time with Jesse to make the move I want to make so that will be rough. I doubt anything will happen until May or June though.

I am reading everyone else's posts (Jo - whoo hoo on spin class! Bike shorts are a god send for those butt issues) but I am crashing hard so I'll chime in more tomorrow. Heading out to see "It's a Wonderful Life" on the big screen tomorrow night. Can't wait!

Off to bed for me. My pillows are calling me.

I'm trying so hard not to rant about work. It's at least once a day now that I have to remind myself that I'm not rich nor is my family and I can't afford to quit till I get another job. (Unless anyone wants to take me in.) I'm exhausted, sick and totally run down and they know they can work me to the bone. Did I mention our Christmas party was tonight and I almost walked out of it?

I just keep telling myself I love the holidays, don't let this get me down. I love the holidays.

But in other fun news, I might be running my 5k on Sunday in the snow! That could be fun, right?

Nancy- Your pictures make me want to see what Disneyland is all about! I'm sure you said but I can't remember, where did Nate apply?

Lisa- New Years week it looks like the big hair cut will be happening and there will for sure be pictures. And yes looking in the mirror there was no doubt I was getting sick. It's never pretty when a pale girl gets even paler. And sleep? I got home from hockey at 11:50, what's sleep? And definitely thinking good thoughts for you for Feb 1st.

Kat- December will be over before you know it.

I wish I could help all of you out with Christmas shopping. I love buying people gifts. Like I go nuts, it's so much fun for me.

Meg, the only advise I can give is try very very very hard to not the them get to you at work. This happens to me, my bosses are doing so many bad things that will in time come out and they are so mean and rude and disrespectful. My husband tells me all the time , in one ear and out the other. I am getting better and not bring the issues home. Its just not worth it. Tell yourself your glad your not them. you have a happy life!!!

The weathermen are trying to decide if a coastal storm is going to hit us this weekend or not. Apparently it's one of those really close calls, where it could either veer off to sea or whack us good. Ready for snow Meg? Erika? We might be getting it
