Well let's see here..
#1 I too knew what a narwhal was only because I am an ocean geek and one of my biggest regrets is tied to that....would have loved to have been an "ocean research assistant person/player all of things cute and bizaare" that liives in the ocean but I HATED science except for the ocean part. I live on the animal planet station and during shark week...watch out...anything underwater I adore...love them seal babies and as a whole think anytime in the water is better than time out...
Baylor is a lot like that....even in the dark lakes we have here...he will snorkle until he passes out just to see a sunfish eye to eye...
***About 5 years ago...Baylor was in the downstairs bathtub...he was about 8...and he would not answer my calls, knocks....anything...
Freaking out...I reached up and got the straight pin pop un-locker we kept above the bathroom doors...came bustin in like John Wayne..to find the kid in my $700 snorkle gear...submersed...under bubbles...He was playing a CD in our shower CD player of ocean sounds and oblivious that he was not Captain Neptune.
After wanting to throttle him for scarring the heck out of me...I laughed and laughed...all I could see above the massive bubbles was a snorkle tip and his white hiney...
#2 POP you say...oh yeah...I am grooming my kids to annoy the heck out of ya...
#3 We call them subs as well.....but what do you guys call sloppy joe's?? In Iowa they are called "Maid Rites"...like you can make them wrong I guess...and Taverns.....
#4 So let's get some votes in for Saturday night for Treyner's B-day...Where do ye all say we shall go???
