In Search of My Body - Not the One I Ate, VOL 7! Princesses? Nope, just us Goddesses!

He better cut you a deal! :lmao: Has he even thought that he might be looking at the wrong type of girl?

I gave up on that one a long time ago. I can't figure out what he is looking for because he can't figure out what he is looking for. All I know is that it is highly entertaining and makes my workouts go quickly.

bah - enough worrying about Jesse's lovelife - I am going to bed...

talk to you all on the flip side.

not a chance. Sadly, she is her mother's daughter :sad2:

BUT. Did I mention? Seth is coming home on Friday. :dance3:

I bet you are counting the minutes! Do you have to go get him or does he have a ride? Is said homecoming expected early, midday, evening? Channeling Lyz, since I bet she is tired.

Good Night Paula!

Really? Seth is coming home on Friday? I'm surprised you haven't mentioned it...:rolleyes1

I know! It's crazy! He's only been gone a week or two. You would think he is away at a military college or something like that.

But seriously, Nancy has held it together really well.

ACK. I'm not going to give any BL spoilers in case someone hasn't watched it yet. BUT - the kicked off contestant was just on Jay Leno....and ACK. That's all I'm gonna say right now.

Lyz--I am sure you are bone-weary from being at the construction site all day, but check in if you can!

Hola. I AM tired. Worked at the office today, really worked. I have to be on the jobsite tomorrow. UGH!

Kelly's birthday!!! I want to see the cake. Present?

Enjoying the banter tonight.

I know right? I tend to keep these things to myself. ;)

We are going to pick him up Friday. All.day.in.the.car. Really. Becca threatened to sleep in the car Thursday night if we told her that she couldn't skip school to come. And we're taking my GF's son with us, because he 1)desparately misses Seth and 2) is interested in seeing the college so yeah. It's road trip time.

Lyz - no luck yet. Two stores on Saturday looked at me like I was from outer space. As in haven't heard of it - not the "are you kidding they're sold out". It's like I was an alien.

So I thought "hmmm maybe not in Canada". But that seemed strange.

Hit three today. Better. One never got them but had heard of them. Another one said they will get them but when I asked them what they looked like he armed out the bloody size of a rat in DC. Have you ever seen the rats in DC? :lmao: Have you? They're bigger than one of my cats.

Ummm. Not joking. Anyway I doubt my little Zhu Zhus are that wickedly huge.

But one store - this toy store - as in real old time toy store - indy said yes but we sold them - come back next week and so I shall.

Oh on one of my question sessions a woman followed me down the escalator - just a curious customer and asked me to tell her all about it. So funny. She was quite taken aback that a mechanical rodent :lmao: is making its mark. Spread the word. :rotfl:

And yes I will be on it. I'm enjoyng the hunt. A little too much. It's like I gonna find it ...I'm gonna find it.....I'm gonna find it.

Eirka - sounds like Kelly's day was fabulous. And with a smile I can imagine that that child adores a KELLY DAY!!!!:lmao:

Hi everyone.

Nancy - excited for you - even when he kicks your a$$ with his bootcamp. Even then. Here's to Friday.

Lyz--Tonight was just her family party, so I did a giant chocolate chip cookie (think pizza-sized) with "Happy Birthday Kelly" in incing on it. There are two cakes coming, so I couldn't justify a third. As for presents, *sigh* well, this is my kid who is a clothes horse. Loves, loves, loves clothes. Goes through four "costume changes" per day. And everything she gets is hand-me-down x 4. Yes, most things have been through 3 other kids before they get to her. So we gave her a lot of clothes. Mostly every day stuff for school, etc. But she was over-the-moon happy about it. And then just a few little things so that she at least got something other than clothes.

Lisa--missed you! Glad to see you back! Catch up, will ya?

Nancy--seriously, you are faring far better than I will, I am sure. I mean, I all but never leave my kids even for a night. I can't imagine what it is going to be like when they begin to leave the nest.

Good Morning!

Much better today, no pain meds since yesterday afternoon and will be heading to the gym tonight for a workout - they have a few evening water aerobics classes.

Nancy - Treyner is not comming home for Thanksgiving. We need to fly him to Anderson College in a few weeks and that is spendy beyond spendy with 4 airport charges each way. ($700-$1,000) He is heading to NM with a good friend for the first 1/2 of the trip, then back to Durango for Thanksgiving and through the weekend to spend time with his girlfriend and her family. He has to stay on campus through this Sunday night because of soccer playoffs and I am glad I did not buy a ticket like I had planned for Sat. morning had he plannned on comming home. :scared1:

Chad is flying to Durango on Dec 15th to drive with him to either Knoxville and leave his car at a friends till Anderson starts or home since the school in NE he might go to does not start full term until the end of January.

Then Treyner will either fly with us to Orlando for our trip or fly from Knoxville to Orlando and meet us there. Chad would fly home from Knoxville. Glad Chad at least will see where Treyner has been for 5 months since he never was there before.

Kelly - sorry I got the B-day mix up - not trying to make you feel any older! :lmao:

E - Sounds like the real Kelly's b-day was awesome. You will have to ppost some pics of her all spiffied up in her new duds!

Paula - hope you are on the mend and good job taking care of that pain before it becomes a big problem!

Nancy - so jealous of seeing Seth. I can't wait to hear all about him being home! I hope you have a great time! Very cute about Becca! :lovestruc

Hi Everyone!

Paula - Sorry you're in pain

Dawn - No worries, you're just making me fly towards 30 with the extra birthdays :rotfl: Glad to hear you're feeling a little better

Nancy - So excited for you to have Seth coming home :cool1:

Erika - Glad Kelly had such an awesome birthday pooh:
Im not sure about a live TR but I will be taking a thousand pictures so I can bore you when I get back!

LisaV - Nice to see you back! I miss your posts :)

Liz - Miss you around here!

Amy - Are you excited for New Moon? (I know, what a STUPID question!) :cool1:

Everyone - Hi :flower3:

Mad busy around here, trying to get a million and one things done before I leave for London tomorrow!

Hope everyone has a great day :upsidedow

GOOD MORNING!

What's everyone's plan for the day? If you are struggling, then set ONE goal and focus on just that one. Water? Getting to the gym? Tracking?

Water, definitely more water. Ive drank far too much fizzy pop over the last few days and I can feel it because I feel bloated!

Good morning!!!

I am pain free this morning!!! So happy about that. Nancy - I am still taking a rest day and will be buying new shoes, but I can get up and walk from my desk without cringing so life is good this morning. Jesse thinks my hamstring was just really tight. We worked it last night and stretched it and all is well so far. Something to definitely keep an eye on though. Thanks for the concern everyone. Really don't want this to derail my training for the 1/2 marathon.

Erika - thanks for the post about goal setting for the day. :goodvibes

My motivation to eat well right now is down in the weeds so my goal is simple. I want to stay on my food plan for the day. Someone remember to ask me about this from time to time. The cafeteria in the building has these really good peanut butter chip cookies that seem to call me by name these days.

OK - off to schedule a slew of meetings for next week - whee!!! Will write a proper post later in the day.

Make today a good one everyone!

She was quite taken aback that a mechanical rodent :lmao: is making its mark. Spread the word. :rotfl:

:lmao: a mechanical rodent. That kills me :lmao:

And yes I will be on it. I'm enjoyng the hunt. A little too much. It's like I gonna find it ...I'm gonna find it.....I'm gonna find it.

It has become quite the quest! Much like that ellusive golden ticket of Willy Wonkas!

Nancy--seriously, you are faring far better than I will, I am sure. I mean, I all but never leave my kids even for a night. I can't imagine what it is going to be like when they begin to leave the nest.

So. Are you ready for my new brand of crazy? Now I'm trying NOT to be excited about him coming home. I know he's gonna have stuff he wants to do, and people he wants to see....and he's going to his GF's in Pa for a few days...so I don't want to be disappointed that I didn't get to spend enough time with him :crazy2: I'm just a mess.

Nancy - Treyner is not comming home for Thanksgiving.

Now, that's gotta be a wierd feeling. It all makes perfect sense though, but still. Is Treyner switching schools after the 1st semester? Turmoil. Mkaes me crazy to think about.

And I'm glad to hear you are feeling better. When will you be able to get back to your water aerobics?

Mad busy around here, trying to get a million and one things done before I leave for London tomorrow!

:dance3:

Nancy--just watched Leno (well the 5-minute clip on YouTube). WOW. You were right! Ah-mazing!

She looks fabulous. But her big announcement? ugh.

I am pain free this morning!!! So happy about that.

Thank goodness! Now - if you can just stay away from the cookies. :thumbsup2 repeat after me. "those cookies are not my friend" :goodvibes

Pick me! Pick me!

Thank goodness! Now - if you can just stay away from the cookies. :thumbsup2 repeat after me. "those cookies are not my friend" :goodvibes

I knew you two would be up for the task. Had my cereal and banana this morning and am feeling pretty good. My plan is to avoid the cafeteria for the rest of the day. I brought everything I need so I should be set. :goodvibes

Nancy - You are not crazy for trying to control your need to have Seth home. He will appreciate the fact that you recognize his needs to see friends and such while he is home. Of course - he also needs to recognize your needs and spend some time with him mom too. C'mon, he promised to break you in a workout - how is he going to do that if he doesn't spend some time with you? :rotfl2: The rule when I came home was that I spent half my time doing family stuff and half my time doing my stuff. It worked out well for us.

Dawn - Treynor is definitely transferring? Also, are the dorms going to be open over Thanksgiving. My college kicked us all out and locked the doors behind us so that we couldn't stay there. Just curious...

You're definitely right Paula. :flower3:

And I failed to mention that I ran this morning. 5 miles. Felt great. Oh - and on my list of things to do today is.....order new shoes ;)
