So I wake up this morning and see on the news about the school in Kennebunk, say to Mike "gee I wonder if one of Erika's kids goes to that school..." and bang. There it is. OMG I am so sorry!!! One of the aides at David's school (who takes care of the kids who get picked up) said if it is spreading that fast, lets just all shut down for a week and let the thing pass. I am starting to think she is right. Just let those who have it get well and move on. We flew through JFK on Sunday and David crawls, touches, and of course puts his hands everywhere you can imagine. He's 7 right. I became the queen of Wet Ones and Germex.
My bike is a Jamis 3.0. It is a hybrid but can easily be tricked out to a road bike and/or tri bike. I got it a little small as it puts my weight forward more like a road bike. I like it but it currently has 16 gears which is just not enough speed!! There are a lot of different saddles out there to try but I have found it more important to find the right bike shorts than the right saddle. Most important accessory though, cage for your drink!! Second most important, the iPod attachment with speakers!
My gym has lots of muscle heads. They don't bother me. Never have. I guess I just ignore them. The other day in the gym, a lady on the elliptical next to me had the remote for the 3 TVs and was busily changing the channel on "her" TV. I hopped on the elliptical and started working out. Now mind you I don't necessarily pay attention to the TV but she all of the sudden leans over and changes my TV to CNN where all there is, is swine flu coverage. WTH!! Now THAT bothers me...
I hope everyone is well. My day off makes me miss a lot. It seems you talk more when I am not around...or maybe I am just not keeping up...
I had to go get my mom at the airport in Portland so I took the time to hit the Whole Foods Market on my way in. Oh, how I wish we had one where I live. I could spend the entire day in the store!! I found some fresh ground honey roasted PB that my family is sending me back to Portland for...

. Mom landed safe and sound. She told me she was afraid they would cancel her flight into JFK. Yeah mom, they will cancel thousands of flights into JFK...

Then I went home, took care of all my groceries, jumped back in the car and headed in to get kids, Shelby's softball practice, David's baseball practice and dinner was not until 7 p.m. last night which is so late for us. I feel like I have been run over this morning.
I am deciding whether to run or bike today. I ran some intervals on Tuesday and it felt okay but I am not ready to full on run yet. Sore in funny places still. Shelby has a game after school and hopefully we can be in early tonight. All this juggling and running is wearing me out more than the marathon!!
Oh and my pics are up at asiorders.com bib #19056. No lauging at my finish line photo. I think it says it all. My hands are headed for my hips.
