In Search of My Body - Not the One I Ate... Vol. 6: Goddesses just want to have fun

I watched tee shots all day long and am somewhat sunburned. I spent the day sitting on a little knoll to the right of a par 4. There were a few local players with followings of a dozen people or so. Other than that, it was quiet. I did help find a couple of balls. The course is relatively easy for professionals. The leaders are ten under par. I'd say 90% of the drives were in the fairway. The stuff of dreams!

I had a PBJ and there's a dog on my lap. A good end to the day.

I play to run tomorrow morning. It may be, uhm, cold.

Hey everybody!

Thinking about all of you. My outragously long week is almost over. :worship: Can't wait for noon Saturday!

Glad yor work load is lighter!

Can't say that my workload is lighter, but it is definitely different. I have to say, it is a huge relief that I don't have to do the admin stuff on top of my work anymore. Huge relief...

It is amazing how easy the pros make it look. Evil actually. Enjoy your run tomorrow.

Amiee - it is almost Saturday. Enjoy your weekend...

Not much to say today. Found a blazer for my presentation / team interview at the Talbots outlet. Love it when I can find a $200 blazer for $30.

Happy Anniversary Liz!

Happy Anniversary Kelly!

Happy Anniversary Kelly!

I hope everyone has a fantastic week, I am back one week from today - everyone behave! :lmao:

Bye Guys :flower3:

My work week is finally over! :worship: I hope everybody has a good weekend. I'm getting my tattoo filled in tomorrow. Can't wait!

Quick check-in. Big party tonight and then we spend tomorrow getting J ready for Asia. He leaves at 4am on Monday.

So when I wake up on Monday morning...Project Detox. WORD. OMG, the crap I have been putting into my system this month. Ugh!

So who is with me? I know that Nancy will be in. Anyone else?

Posting this here so I will read it and remember...

Heading out to a party right now. And I HATE how I look in what I am wearing. OMG. So pissed at myself. This outfit used to look killer good on me. OMG! Never again.

Count me in too, E! Monday will be full of fresh starts for me!

Good morning! Remember when I woke the thread up EVERY DAY?!?!?! OMG, another lifetime. Time to get back to that life, though!

Getting J ready for Asia today, he leaves tomorrow morning at 4am or something awful like that. So today I will get in a quick run, help pack, head to the pool club, and dinner out. And somewhere in there, I have to start cleaning my house. I need a back-hoe, I swear. All summer long it has just been unpacking and re-packing...there are just piles of crap everywhere!

Good morning - or should I say good afternoon...

It is only about 1:00 and I am already exhausted. Had a great workout at the gym this morning. Did both weight lifting w/ Jesse and then did a 35 minute spinning session on my own since I didn't get my normal bike ride in this morning. Tired, but feeling pretty darn proud of myself since the double workout didn't kill me. Did I tell you guys that Jesse is on board for getting me ready for the Princess 1/2? He is physched that I am doing this and is encouraging me to run instead of wogging it. We'll see how that goes once I officially start wogging next week.

Ok - off to shower and then get some work done for a meeting tomorrow and if all goes well, maybe go get fitted for running shoes.

Have a great day everyone.

Nancy - sending you hugs

Paula - great for you on the Princess Half! Get shoes in the afternoon or evening when your feet are big. I had a great start using C25K.

As it turns out, somewhat sunburned was an understatment. Plain burnt would be right.

I ran Saturday morning. The weather was nearly brisk. I loved it. I'm really beginning to look forward to my run. Hard to believe.

I hope everyone had a great weekend. Sounds like some new leaves turning over tomorrow?

Ronda

Home from Vermont and haven't read a thing....have to go back and catch up.

Just wanted to say that I am a bit of a mess - basically having a major pity party for myself I suppose. Missing my kid. Wishing I was certain that he has the confidence in himself that I have in him.

And....I'm officially disgusted once again. Need to get back on a healty track, 'cause I'm feeling like total crap.

Ok - off to catch up....

 Nancy.

I'm sure he is going to have some ups and downs, but he's a strong kid. He will make the best of it.

I will be 38 on Sunday and I deserve at least one good year of my 30's since I have hated myself the rest.

Happy Birthday Dawn!:flower3:

The gift of WW is the best birthday present you can give yourself. I am a firm believer in that program - if you follow it, you will be successful.

I found an awesome place on campus to hang out on late days like this. Bad thing is that it opens next week when classes start. I hate wasting time until B&N opens. Especially since there isn't much in this hole in the ground city.

You think YOU have nothing to do near campus? :rotfl2: OMG you should see where I just left my KID! Montpelier, VT., the state capital, is 10 miles away. The smallest state capital in the union...AND...the *only* state capital without a McDonalds. For real. There is no.thing. except pushups, situps, running & of course studying.

=Eating is off. Water is non-existent. And exercise - the biggest surprise since it never was an issue - is hit and miss.

 Sorry to say we are in the same boat. <bleh>

So, I went to the doctors today and thankfully she feels that the lump is just a harmless cyst.

:yay: Thank GOD!

So who is with me? I know that Nancy will be in. Anyone else?

oh, I am without a doubt SO in. I'm dreading facing the scale tomorrow. I'll know better in the morning just what my goal is going to be, but I'm certain it will be aggessive.

 Nancy.

I'm sure he is going to have some ups and downs, but he's a strong kid. He will make the best of it.

He is strong. And that's what I told him before we left. He's not "average" or "ordinary" or "typical".....he's more than that. He just needs to keep his head in a positive place, control what he can and let the rest slide. I am really looking forward to parents weekend at the end of September....

Parents weekend will be here before you know it. No McD's at the state capital! What? Wow!

Ronda - thanks for the advice. I didn't end up getting my shoes today, but now I know to go one night after work as opposed to first thing in the morning. Take care of your sunburn.

Nancy - Hang in there... it will get a bit easier in time. Seth is strong. He will get to where he needs to be to succeed. He has you cheering him on, how can he not?

Dawn - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!

In the middle of doing some work so not much time to chat... talk to you later...

GOOD MORNING AND HAPPY MONDAY! (sorry, Lyz! :rotfl2:)

Going to spend the next HOUR catching up on everything I missed! Then I will be a posting machine! bwahahaha

Well, I faced the scale this morning. I was not the least bit surprised at what I saw.:sad2: Disgusted yes, but sadly not surprised.

So - I'm turning my attitude around. Had a healthy breakfast, went to the gym where I had a solid workout, and have just finished my post-workout snack. Journal is dusted off and ready to be written in again.

I'm going back on the wagon - at a minimum Sunday-Thursday. Perhaps I may consider allowing myself something on Friday or Saturday....we'll see. And I'm going to bore you all with my daily health/fitness decisions :upsidedow

Hope you all have a happy, healthy Monday.
