Ok, challenge....I SO SO SO need it. I need to post about my food and exercise daily to keep me going. Let's see, it is mid-July (how the hell did THAT happen???), so should this be 6 weeks? Till the end of August (end of summer)? Shorter? Longer?
 
Wakey Wakey.... It is almost 9:00AM and I am waking up the thread... guess folks are busy this morning. Well, time to get up and get moving people...

Trust me. I'm up. I'm moving. :laughing: Went to the gym this morning and did one of my K.I.L.L.E.R. Jillian workouts. OMG. I'm beat. Totally needed it though. And I had a nice chat with Erin before I left. So today, I'm feeling a bit better about myself, where I'm at, and where I'm headed. :thumbsup2


It's Day 2 of my "new attitude" people. :thumbsup2 Great. Now I'm going to have that song in my head all day :rolleyes1



Lyz - LOVE the hog story too! We used to have pigs when we lived in our old house. One day they all got out. All ten of them. Headed straight for the neighbors garden :eek: Needless to say, none of them were as well trained as Molli's. OMG. Major fiasco. Now my BIL keeps them at his dairy farm. ;)

Kelly - :eek: That's awful. So embarassing.

Thought of you yesterday. Becca was telling me a story about something that happened last week while she was at camp - and she was just laughing hysterically as she said in her best British accent "you girls put away those crisps".

In other travel news...earlier this evening Jeff said "I want to go back to Disney!" Um, we just got back what? 8 weeks ago? And when we got back he was like, "I think we are all set for a while....we won't go back for a year at least." (After four times this past year, I expected that from him.) So this was a shock tonight! Looks like an October trip for one of the races might be in order...:rolleyes1

I already have a trip booked for the weekend of Oct 24th... come play!!

Challenge, I am in. Labor Day. Track 6/7, exercise 4/7, water 6/7, and hit as close to 180 as possible.


LisaV, thanks, but I totally do look my size right now. Maybe if I ever get around to going back to a deep red w/ highlights, I will post pics...

yes, JC was last night. I lost .8 pounds. I was worried it was going to be the third week of a gain. TOM arrived yesterday and I am bloated...

And remember....EVERYONE is welcome to participate and your goals are just that --YOURS. They can be small (like just getting in your water each day) or multiple things (tracking, exercise, water, etc.) or other issues like not getting on the scale every single day, just thinking consciously about your food choices, whatever will work for you.

Think about it. Post them here. I will make a chart. Off to the pool club.

Nope. Funeral this afternoon. This wonderful 91 year old man from town that I've know for...well...as long as I can remember. He was quite a character. The service was absolutely fabulous. Ended up sitting next to some random old lady who told me not to bother holding the hymnal for her, as her mother used to pay her NOT to sing. :eek: "and quite handsomly I must say" :rotfl2::rotfl2:

OMG, are you kidding me??

5 mile run, followed by 100 squats and 100 lunges. Core to come.

Oops... my poor attempt at humor was really not directed at anyone then myself... should have explained. Haven't really been at the gym much this past week because of the race so the lounging on my butt thing is getting comfy.

I would never accuse our resident two workouts a day whose schedule is way too crazy busy goddess of lounging the day away...

however, I will call you out on your core workout...

Killer workout tonight. Jesse informed me that I have two more weeks of endurance workouts to go. Basicallly, I have one minute sets of everything ahead of me. I am soooo hating that right now....

I finally got to fill Jesse in on the race. He was very excited and somehow missed the fact that I was the first one back and he just lost it when he figured it out. He ran off to tell the other trainers in the middle of my warm up. They all came out high fiving me and such. It was awesome!!!

If im standing a certain way I can look...well, pregnant! And I was asked yesterday if I was. Granted, they didn't think I was 9 months pregnant and ready to drop, but they saw enough tummy to think I was.

Can you say DEVASTATED!!! After I stared at her for 10 minutes, drop kicked her (not really) she was :eek: that she'd said it and I was :scared1::sad1:.

So. I am ON.

Did not drink bottles of wine tonight! Victory. Did eat M&M's. I'm only human.

Place is nice, weather is nice (I could not live with this heat and humidity, but it's fine for vacation). Everything we do is nice. My dad, alone, is lovely. My inlaws are in pretty good control. My mom is slightly evil and very sick. I am sure the evil comes from the sick. Let's say this; I need to go back to therapy when I get home, do some more of that grief work.

Half of me wishes I was not on this vacation. The other half is okay with it.

Good Morning Everyone

Labor Day - is that the 7th of September?

So, my challenges will be a little bit wishy-washy.

*Exercise 30mins minimum a day
*Track my food - not religiously to points, but to see how healthy I am eating
*At least 2 litres of water per day

I decided last night that it isn't the Weight Number that is the biggest problem for me (obviously it would be nice to get back to my target weight), it is the lack of muscle tone - everything is hanging where it shouldn't be because I haven't been exercising. Now that is going to change!

So far so excellent on the food/water today!

Breakfast - 2 crumpets with extra low fat spread
Snack - Ryvita Mini Cheese & Chive snacks
Lunch - HUGE salad with a little bit of ham, a tiny bit of feta cheese and some no points honey and mustard salad dressing! Im just off to eat this now!
