Good morning everyone!
Erika, Mike's accent makes me giggle most of the time. He can come out with some truly funny Maine-isms. The clips made me laugh too. I love Tim Sample. MDI marathon, hmmm, I have nothing going in October...

I also think that Great Bay is back on the radar again. My SIL mentioned it at dinner. Of course, she also mentioned that she wanted to run a tad under a 10 mpm pace the whole way too....
Amy, MDI marathon...Did I mention I have nothing going in October...

Beach to Beacon is a great run too and only a 10K!! And if you don't like hills, what are you thinking with MDI??????
Paula, yes, welcome to the dark side. When people start asking you for advice, you are truly arrived!!

I got stopped by 2 older ladies in the hall the other day and they asked how I stay so tiny. I had to do the, um, thanks, and I don't know (mostly because I don't consider myself tiny).
Aimee, hang in there. We are on a travel budget this year too and it does not include Disney (yet) so just revel in the fact that you are going!! If it were me, I would do as E said and just stay at POR and do Disney. Try some things that you don't normally see or do for a change of pace like take in some shows or something.
Everyone else, yeah, I lost it again. I always have so much to say but then it just goes with the wind.
I got out for 3 miles yesterday. I have decided to stick with my plan (what with all the plan talk yesterday) and do my long run on Wednesday when I would normally take a rest day. I have more time to get it done and not worry about needing to get someone somewhere. I am trying to slow my runs down and maintain an easier pace for the marathon. I am thinking 11:30 to 12:00 mpm pacing but who know what my body will be thinking come mile 20.

It felt good to be outside running and for the next few days, that is my plan. I have to take the girls to the gym this afternoon and will get a couple miles in but the plan is for 5-6 total and I may finish it up outside when I get home. Depending on their speed and efficiency at the gym, I may get the entire run in outside!!
Eating has been on the light side with the flu and I decided to weigh myself this morning for reference. I am down another 1.5 pounds (2.5 total) but I am sure this won't last once I get my hydration and eating back to "normal". I have not been following the every 2 hour rule lately as I just have not felt like eating...at all...so I need to get back on track again.
Everyone is doing so well with their challenge. I think this was one of the best ideas!! Great job working toward your goals!!!!
