Vitamins and supplements, hmmm. Interesting topic. It may surprise people, but I don't take any. I eat well and pay attention to what I am taking in. And I don't get sick (thanks for the Vamp reminder, EE! ), so I just assume that I don't need a multi. Would love to hear thoughts of those who do take one and why.

Hey gang - So didn't want to go to my training session. Not because I didn't feel like working out, just had a crappy day at work. Nothing really happened, but with the current situation, some days just plain suck because there is nothing I can do to change things. Jesse picked up on this and wanted to know why my mood was pissy. I felt 1000% times better by the time I left so I am loving exercise for that reason alone.

Things have been moving kind of quick around here. Still feel a bit out of it so I don't have a lot to say tonight. Thinking of you all though.

Steph--meant to comment on Sam's dress! She looks happy. But man, I fear the teen-age years. Truly. That just looks like so much skin showing to me! I am sure it is totally appropriate for today, but it just shows that I am nowhere near ready to have a kid that old. And God forbid the first boy who comes sniffing around here. Jeff is just going to be ALL OVER him.

Yep, no single tickets, and no same sex couples. My friend fought that and she won, though! Not for a big GLBT rights thing, but so she could go to Homecoming with friends.

The school changed their policy.

It's midnight and I have to be up at 6AM to leave a 6:20 to get to this flippin' school that I"m at. Streetcar to the subway to LRT to a bus!!! Nonsense.

Camera - help. I have an Epson camera and no one has a compatible battery. Their own battery with a recharger. I have to search tomorrow night. Anyone have that brand of camera. Gosh if it's too much maybe I should just buy a cheap new camera. I can't stand the hunt. Totally rambling. Tired.

I snagged my parents an ocean view room as well for part of our week. Really that's why we're going. I need Mom memories. My gut says this is the last functional year for her. This is it. I'm so sad. Hardly a sentence goes by lately without a word or comprehension issue. And I cry that she's so damn smart that she now uses "yeah right" to every sentence to hide things. She has never used that phrase in her entire life. How stressful that would be to know and practice ways of trying to hide it. The energy for her. I'm so sad.

I love DVC. Lyz - you are smart to wait til cash. We did. For ten years we waited. Paid cash. Mostly inheritance. And if we didn't we would have had to give it up this year for sure. So it's smart unless you're someone with some huge monthly guaranteed pay.

I too adore the washer and dryer. I love to hang out on vacation. Love that.

HA, now that I have woken up the thread, GOOD MORNING, Sunshines. It is a dreary, dismal day here. Rainy, slushy, sleety, and all around gross. Wednesday, which means early release for the kids. I feel like Nancy!

Not much time now as I have to get to the gym early today so I can sit with my dad later this morning.

Lisa/PR--Sunday is B2B registration! Jeff and I are racing Sunday morning, but since his company is sponsoring the race this year, they automatically get 50 spots, so it looks like I will run with his team.

Not much going on here. Just a lot of work! Our summer intern is coming in for a visit today so that should be fun. He was a great kid and I wish I could have him back this summer, but budget cuts won't allow.

I agree. I think some people want to "collect" friends. Not "be" friends. Whatever. I have a friend request that's been sitting in my inbox for about a week. Haven't decided what I want to do about it.

I have lots people from HS and college who were really just acquaintances back then ,so are less than that now, and they are in my "friends." I pretty much accept friend requests form those folks as I have nothing to "hide." If they want to know what I ended up doing with my life, fine. But I don't seek them out. And every once in a while, I go through my friend list and purge.

Ok thanks to Erikas mapmyrun, I figured out that I walked 2.51 miles today, yup thats right I walked in the wind! No rain. I walked to the tanning salon and then walked back to the house got the puppy and walked to the interstate, via the dead end road. So what does one look like after walking in the wind with a puppy pulling and having to be pulled. THis is what she looks like!

Can we say WIND BLOWN! I was hoping that it would tire puppy out but no such luck! she is just full of more energy, just dumped my bottle of water. Fetch is becoming her new favorite game!

Amiee, good luck with the creek! I am watching the river here very closely because we still have a bunch of stuff stored in the garage and that is oh about 4 feet from the river!
