Nancy, tell me why you'd love to do a Muddy Buddy. Is it fun? I cannot imagine that being fun. You're all dirty and gross, right?
Schmack - Schmackle - Schlong ? Anyone, anyone, anyone. Lets see if these get blocked.![]()
And OMG, yes! That is exactly why I hate the banana! It is totally gross and completely phallic and that lecherous look! Which, with Lyz's hatred of men, I find it odd that she loves the dancing weiner!![]()
Because not all men can get it up.
Banana must need Viagra.![]()
BL was good tonight. And Mandy did the right thing. But the cousins need to get their collective head out of their a$$ and listen to Jillian.
Oh! I had a skinny cow tonight, too! Strawberry! YUM.
Almost choked on my skinny cow ice cream sandwich![]()
Gollllleeeeyyyy - Post Much People? And I missed the fun.
HI LAR IOUS!!! That is too much.![]()
Muddy Buddy. Ewww. EriKa - I hate mud. Hate it. I would never do it.
Nancy - your dreams! Funny!
Listen up! I met with my account this morning. My federal damage is...

OMG! - and thank heavens for estimated taxes. Just sayin'. (I still need to go over it for errors. Course maybe I shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth - just sign it, cut the check and be done)
You know what, I am doing pretty good right now work wise. I am not in the weeds on anything. Weird feeling.
Morning!
And I have to re-vamp my work-out routine. I am going to switch from high cardio moderate strength to more strength training and moderate cardio. But I have to plan it all out first. Hmmm...maybe I'll make a spreadhseet for it. NOT. Why? Because I am not insane.![]()
um - he's a guy... they don't do pictures.
He sounds like a responsible bad boy type so that is good.
I'm with you on the dentist thing. Was there this morning and my whole day is now thrown off.
Today is a busy one for me since I got a late start. Need to get a bunch of stuff done here and then head home for Tuesday night dinner with the family and then my training session (where Jesse already told me I would be working the weights hard tonight). Hopefully, I'll have some energy left to start the whole FB thing tonight. I will try.
Have a great day everyone. Oh and we have mud here as well. That is proof that spring is coming.
Later,
Paula
Nancy, do you have the same kind of relationship with skinny cow ice cream sandwiches that Liz has with movie theater popcorn?![]()
Nancy, do you have the same kind of relationship with skinny cow ice cream sandwiches that Liz has with movie theater popcorn?![]()
Yeah!!! That's not bad at all!
Re-VAMP?![]()
Yep, he is very responsible. In fact, he is paying bills right now.![]()
I so hope you have enegry for fb tonight!
No benefits, hilarious!
Vitamins and supplements, hmmm. Interesting topic. It may surprise people, but I don't take any. I eat well and pay attention to what I am taking in. And I don't get sick (thanks for the Vamp reminder, EE!), so I just assume that I don't need a multi. Would love to hear thoughts of those who do take one and why.
Did I mention that only gained 1.2 pounds since Jan12 (which was the last time I went to WW) I didn't think that was to bad considering the way I have been eating! so it wasn't a 10 pound gains since thanksgiving it was 9 pound gain.
Oh here is a picture of Sam and her friend maggie on the night of the winter formal

Best Disney Pixie Dust/Magic Story -
The best time I had at Walt Disney World would be in February of 2007. We went to the Pirate & Princess Party and it was money well spent. The park was empty. It was late (11pm), the day of travel (exhausting), but me and my girls were revved to be in the Magic Kingdom. We ran, full on ran, from ride to ride and collecting beads. Molli was 11 and Maddi was 3. It was Maddi's first trip as an aware little girl. She was in awe. We danced. It makes me giddy thinking of it.
Erika, glad your dad's surgery went well. Thinking good thoughts for him (and you).
Steph, great pic!
Lyz, loved the update.
Everyone else, thanks for the good thoughts. Right now, we are still in a holding pattern.
Here is my public service announcement for the year and feel free to hate me for it. Please, please, if any of you smoke, do whatever you can to quit. Really. I am watching the effects of long term smoking on both of D's parents and nothing could be worth this. Do it for you, for your family, for your children who don't need to watch this and have to suffer both feeling badly and hating that this was at least somewhat preventable. Please.
No! Are they cute????
I avoid that aisle at the grocery store because I am afraid. I so LOVE crackers. Ritz. Yum. Saltines. Yum. Wheat thins! Yum! These are things others can enjoy in moderation. Not me. I want to eat the whole box, sleeve, etc. This is why I don't have any GS cookies in my house. If it's there, I shut it up by eating it.
HI LAR IOUS!
Lyz, no, I didn't get in trouble with mom!![]()
Ok, I already admitted this to Lyz, but I will share this with all of you. Just so that you know I am not a total freakshow and I totally go off the wagon once in a while.
Guess what I had for breakfast this morning. G'head (said like Pete!). Guess. Give up?
Chocolate cake!At like 8:30 in the morning. And it was delish. For finishing the tri, J and the kids made me a chocolate cake (my fave) and there was half a piece left this morning. So I ate it. And loved it. Now it is back to reality.
Did the cake have eggs and flour in it? Than how is that different than eating eggs and toast (or anything like that). How is it that muffins are considered appropriate breakfast food and chocolate cake (which is comparable in calories, fat, etc) is not?
Glad you enjoyed the cake. You totally deserved it.
Regarding chocolate cake for breakfast...anyone remember the Bill Cosby routine where he's supposed to feed the kids breakfast and a daughter wants chocolate cake? He takes inventory... milk, eggs, flour... and wham, chocolate cake for breakfast.
You deserve it!
Ronda
Well I'll be. I guess that means I'm having chocolate cake for breakfast.
See? Now aren't you glad we peer pressured you into it?
Erika-Penciled in for the 9th!! I looked at the Muddy Buddy online. It looks like so much fun. But the bike thing would be an issue. And did I read there was free beer??
Paula-I think you mentioned pirates booty. I found it today at the store. Yum! Delena likes it too.
Kat-Lots of good thoughts for you!!![]()
And when I saw those pics that E posted from your december trip, I see you as totally skinny. It's all about how we see ourselves I guess.
I will NEVER swim in fresh water in FL. Never. not only do you have scary a$$ brain amoeba's, but you also have gators. No thank you. So if I ever did a tri here, it would be one that is in the gulf for the swim portion or a pool. Of course in the gulf you have stingrays and jellyfish, so I don't know.
I am in a bit of detox today after the weekend. My eating was ok at Disney, just too many drinky drinks. I've already done the shred DVD today. I did it in the morning and really liked getting it out of the way early. I may have to try and do it that way as much as I can.
Thanks SO much everyone for the photo comments.I think I truly do see the changes now. For me, it is a big deal to see it in pictures of myself. I have been meaning to do this for awhile so here are before and in progress pics. Anyone else want to post some???
To be honest, I don't really like any of the smileys. But the banana is just gross. Like a giant dancing ***** with a leer on it's face. Let's see if they block out that word!
Umm, ok... Erika? Are you going to use my suggestion from last night as your official introduction at the marathon or triathlon or otherwise physical insanity that you're participating in this coming weekend? I could write you a boxing-style preamble in Spanish if you like?
Think about it! It would be awesome.![]()
OMG I second that W O W! you look G R E A T!Amy- two things.
First - I am so freakin' jealous that you are "in" for the Muddy Buddy. No fair.
![]()
Second- OMG. LOOK AT YOU! Or rather, what's LEFT of you.You have really made some changes.
![]()
Because not all men can get it up.
UMM yes this is always the BIG drama at the store. Most of these dresses are NOT cut for a 14 year old girl! I try to find one that we can compromise on. Last year I think we spent 4 hours trying on dresses and then another hour trying to find shoes that weren't 5" spikes. THis year we didn't have time to argue I said yeah that looks fine lets go!Steph--meant to comment on Sam's dress! She looks happy. But man, I fear the teen-age years. Truly. That just looks like so much skin showing to me!I am sure it is totally appropriate for today, but it just shows that I am nowhere near ready to have a kid that old. And God forbid the first boy who comes sniffing around here. Jeff is just going to be ALL OVER him.
