In Search of My Body....Not the One I ATE! Vol. 5: Goddesses are Always on Top!

My playlist reads the same way...just crazy transitions from one thing to the next.

I have mine on "random" play. Never know what's going to come up next. Sometimes I get this good flow going of stuff that makes *sense* together. Other times? Well, it's just random!

ack...help.... i didn't just fall off the wagon last night/today, i catapulted myself off with a crash and burn landing :guilty:

Stacey - trust me on this. It is not a big deal as you think. Success is all about the least time to get back on track. Not the lousy days. :lovestruc

So let it go and get back on.

Is everything okay? Any stress at school? Buying your gorgeous house.

Because I would guess it's emotional eating. Is it?

Nancy and Roddy - you have beyond cracked me up. :rotfl::lmao::rotfl:

Nancy you're the funniest woman I know. Kelly is a close second. One of your lines had me :rotfl::lmao::rotfl::lmao:

I must go back and paste.

Erika - whew on the taxes. Over. Yeah, eh?

I need your help guys:

Any imput on honeymoon experiences - the PG part I mean:lmao:

I'm booking my nieces honeymoon and she's really overwhelmed balancing costs with dreams and places. I have friends that have regretted honeymoon choices but this is so out of my realm.

So any honeymoon thoughts? Places you adore. Resorts you adore.

She's thinking of Sandals Antigua. And probably Aruba or Antigua.

Nancy - she won't do Mexico. We had a horrendous story two years back from Mexicio - Canadian couple - and it's jaded many - not the violence - the police work was unreal. And few others in a short span of time. But I would love to go Nancy. My agency owner adores Hidaaway in the Mayan resort.

So any thoughts about how you thought it through or regrets etc? I know everyone is different but some thoughts.

Lisa, don't know if you are aware or not, but my mom (you know, the one you love so much :rotfl2: ) is an Anthropologist. My Godmother was Margaret Mead, before she died (I was about 10).

Wow, that is so cool.

Here is my running playlist (just in case anyone was interested):
I can only imagine
Where have all the cowboys gone
Stronger
In the Ayer
Right Round
Love lockdown
Lolli Lolli
Goodbye to you
Cowboys
8 mile
Goody two shoes
Bad girlfriend
Naughty naughty
The Final Countdown
Girls just want to have fun
If I could have you back
Fat bottomed girls
Sober
Hungry like the wolf
Girl on the verge
You give love a bad name
Livin on a prayer
What you got
I run for life
Just dance
Shake it
Purple rain (only so I know I am at the end....finally)

Sorry for the long boring post.

E-:wizard:

Awesome list Lisa!

I've read nothing except for LisaV! Your pictures. WOW!WOW!WOW! You look so freaking great!!!

Ok, back to trying to catch up, and work on the H&G Show! I'm losing it here. I'll be hit and miss for the next 2 weeks. Don't talk too much.

Hang in there!

I do this too!! I think it really helps to sweat it out, actually.

Thanks for all of the hugs and good thoughts. I am back at work today and have yet to hear anything, which is probably good news. :)

No news is good news, at least that is what I hear.

Depends on the product! The soap I make has all the natural glycerin in it, so it is VERY moisturizing. Commercial products may contain the goat milk, but if they are putting a bunch of chemicals in as well, it's not necessarily going to be "awesome". My absolute favorite stuff for hands is the Hemp Hand Protector by The Body Shop. My hands are so abused. Between all the scalding hot soapy water at work, and the beating they take in the barn - my skin gets wrecked. This stuff is amazing. Couldn't live without it.

Sunny - great to hear from you. Hope you get your computer back soon!

Playlist. I'm gonna have to figure out how to share mine. Talk about an eclectic mix of music

What?!? Is there anything you can't do?

Do you seriously not know how to copy/paste?

Oh no you didn't. It was nice knowing you.

:rotfl2:

LisaV--Still loving the pics and the report and stories of your Mom and Dad (they are so cute! I love oldsters).

LisaPR--thanks for your list. I will have to get mine up soon. Yeah, eclectic about describes it. What is funny is that what I like to run to, I don't necessarily like to listen to.

Lyz--first taxes and now H&G. Not happy.

Steph--great job on the loss! Doesn't it feel great to be back on?!?!

EE/Sunny--sorry about the computer woes.

Nancy--are you relaxed now that the show is over? Can't believe that they have the nerve to ask you for MORE! :scared1:

Crap, I must have missed that last night.

As for me, my worst day of the year is now over. Thankfully. And while we DO owe this year, it is not too much of a blood bath. So, it is done and was only mildly painful. (After our shock of a couple of years ago, we always have money set aside in case we owe. And what we owe this year is less than the amount set aside, so it is ALMOST like getting refund, since we get to keep some of that reserve money, if that makes sense.)

And now, here it is after 1pm and I haven't even started work yet for the day.

Glad it wasn't horrible!

shut up. I hate you. :lmao:

YES, I know how to copy/paste. But I'm totally anal. And I like lists to look like lists. And not all wonky. I use Rhapsody for my music and my play lists are in spreadsheet style charts. And when I copied them to put into a word document the formating is just chaotic.

I WAS relaxed Erika. Until Roddy got all up in my grill about copying and pasting ;)

:lmao:

Well Par-don. Geez, all this Amish talk I thought maybe you didn't know how to copy/paste and I was going to try to help. :sad2:

Paste into an Excel spreadsheet. It might help with the formatting.

So nice of you to help!

Nancy - there is some good stuff on that playlist. I am beginning to think we share a gene pool somewhere along the way. Love that you have the B52's, Violent Femmes and Green Day yet also show some love to Paul Simon, Norah Jones and the rest. Love it.

Now I need to go home and revamp my playlist thanks to all of these new ideas. I'll post the new list when it is ready.

Paula

Add me to the gene pool please!

Nancy ~ love it, love it. Mine is similar with the addition of Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Alice Cooper, and a ton of 80's pop.

See. I wasn't kidding!

:worship: Yes, Roddy. You were right!

Going from Kanye West to Carly Simon seems like it would be really an odd transition doesn't it? But they are all great songs, IMO.

Great songs make up for odd transitions any day in my book.

Off to visit with a friend, later taters.

Please, let Ron or Laura go home. They need to GO. Not in the same league as others.

LisaV - yes it is emotional eating

I'm so annoyed at myself, i'm acting like a 15 year old. Bruce and I were bickering on and off all weekend, nothing severe, just annoying, but then he went back to evenings and i haven't seen him since and i'm upset we spent our only weekend for the next month together bickering. Work is a cesspool right now, i swear every day it is like walking into a high school cafeteria and i'm so sick of it. Just a bad day all around, i hadn't slept well, couldn't get up this AM to go to the gym, felt guilty. Put all in a pot and stir and you have me eating like it's going out of style. I managed to stop the bloodbath a few hours ago. lucky for me (not not b/c i'm sure it didn't help) i didn't really eat much for breakfast or lunch so i only went over my WW points by 5. Still really upset and just want to cow down on anything i see, so i'm afraid tomorrow will be bad too.

Off to do my research paper..... yet ANOTHER joy bubbling in my conciousness right now.

Hope everyone has a good night, i don't mean to be negative farmer! Hopefully i wake up on the right side of the bed tomorrow.

Stacey - hang in there. We have all been there. Can you recruit anyone to help keep you occupied until you can get through this? That sometimes helps. You have come too far to let this get you down.

I am hoping for Felipe. I haven't watched much of this season but I didn't care for the hissy fit of his I saw...

Hi everyone,

Long day today and I am beat. Training was rough tonight. Not having been to the gym all weekend totally came back to bite me in the bummocks. The warm up was rough. Thankfully, the weight lifting went well and then Jesse tortured me with push ups until muscle failure - UGH!!!! I am ready to crash at this point.

Sounds like everyone is off and about tonight since things have been so quiet. I would love to spark some great debate tonight, but I am just too tired at this point.

Thinking of you all and I'll catch you on the flip side.

Paula

ack...help.... i didn't just fall off the wagon last night/today, i catapulted myself off with a crash and burn landing :guilty:

Do you at least get style points? ;)

Oh no you didn't. It was nice knowing you.

I know, right? can you believe it? :confused3 <sheesh> It's a good think I like him
Please, let Ron or Laura go home. They need to GO. Not in the same league as others.

Ok. So I missed the beginning (at a meeting :headache:). But Aubrey seems to be getting snotty to me. :snooty: I'm not overly sad to see her go. And Kat - you're right. Filipe is a big ol' sissy pants cry baby. I don't like him at all. Strategically they should have sent him home.

Still really upset and just want to cow down on anything i see, so i'm afraid tomorrow will be bad too.

 Sorry your day was so cruddy. Keep a positive attitude (and I don't mean "I'm positive I'm going to have a sh!tty day!;)) Things will get better. Really - it's all only temporary. :flower3:

Long day today and I am beat. Training was rough tonight.

pushups till failure. :scared:

I had to laugh tonight at dinner. My boys started Track practice yesterday, and the "field" guys had to do "200" push ups yesterday.(I'm sure it was a lot. But 200? I'm betting he miscounted) Today was "leg work" . After we ate dinner, Stephen told Seth it was his turn to do dishes tonight. The look on Seth's face was priceless. He started whining about not being able to stand 'cause his legs hurt. No sympathy from me  I told him to take some advil and suck it up. Nice mom, huh :rolleyes1

Food for today: 28 points
water: check. Lots and lots
alcohol: none
exercise: 60 minutes strength training, 30 min bike/stretch

I am not upset that Aubrey went. I wouldn't have been sad to see either one of them go, though. I am rooting for Mike and Kristin. I just think he is a great kid! I really liked Tara the first couple of weeks since she is so positive, but find her annoying now.

Stacey--sorry you had such a rough go of it earlier. Remember that tomorrow is a new day. You haven't killed the whole week. You can still have a loss this week, so stick with it!

Paula--working to muscle failure RULES. OMG, love that feeling that you have really given it everything!

I am still sore and I just can't figure it out. So I took it easy today--which you know is hard for me--in the hopes of coming back strong tomorrow. Since I didn't work out much today, I kept my calories low, at about 1100.

LisaV & Nancy--ok, since you are both interval queens, I would LOVE it if you would post your workouts. I know it will take time, so just when you have a chance. I need to shake it up and am uninspired.

Lyz--can I expect a text tomorrow?

Liz - W1 D2 coming up?

Oh, challenge stuff. I didn't post a first week chart because I got confused as to what we are considering the last day of the week. Some are going with Friday, others through the week-end, etc. I know this will mean a bit of a change, but we can have Monday be our posting day? So that our weeks run from Mon - Sun and we weigh in/check in on Monday? I know this will work well for Paula and Liz. But please feel free to chime in. It doesn't mean that you have to weigh in on Monday. By all means, keep your own schedules. It just means that you REPORT on Monday. What do you think?

Forgive me. I'm working on very little brain power. The boards are different and I'm just figuring it out! You all have probably talked about it. lol.

Anyway, I was marking all my friends. Done. THEN, it says, all my requests were sent. So...I asked you all to be my friends. Even though I assume that is already the case.

I'm not sure what the whole friend thing is about here on the DIS. But of course I friended you all. Natch. ;) I haven't really noticed many other changes? Just when you go to USER CP.
