Good morning ladies and gents...
I have been a busy gal this week... between work, packing and now that its spring, my golf clubs are calling, there hasn't been much time for posting... Bad Goof... Bad Goof....
The bad news is that I stress ate my way through my 3 pound loss from last week and am now back to where I started....

One of these days I'll get this emotional eating thing under control...
me too
The good news is that I am making progress on my packing. I have uncovered a few more square feet of floor in my bedroom and have purged a few bags of clothes already. It is amazing how much crap one person can accumulate in just a few years...
Did I mention I am golfing again.... YEAH!!!! I go through fits of loving and hating this game, but it is a great way to shut the world out and just enjoy some zen time outdoors. I am making an effort to hit the driving range every night before I get home and I am going to play my first round this weekend and am planning on walking as much of the course as I can without exhausting myself. I was reading in my Golf for Women magazine that the average women burns about 290 calories per hour playing golf while walking the course (take about 50 calories off if you use a cart). Considering that the average 9 hole round takes between 2-3 hours, I am amazed at the calories I can burn doing something I love. I even found a challenge both in the magazine and on their website to improve my game and my fitness level to support my game. They have exercises developed to work the arms/chest/shoulders/legs/back by focusing on one or two areas a day. I am going to be starting these tonight. I need to develop strength in my upper body and the only way to do that is through strength training. Needless to say, I am so energized now for golf season that I am hoping to get in the exercise I need for my body while working to improve my game...
Erika - glad to hear your workout went well yesterday... After your tennis story, I wasn't sure if you would still be able to walk... oh - and after seeing that schedule, I will stop complaining about mine... yikes...
