Yes, my feet hurt after yesterday's run. And that is the second time they have hurt (the other time was after my last long run). I guess my feet are just not conditioned yet.
Today, my feet are fine but my hip flexors kill. So there. And as for never complaining...umm, hello? Do you remember April and May when I complained about my IT bands for like freaking ever? OMG, I was whining to Nancy every other post.
Yes, I drink during my runs. When I am on the dreadmill I have a water bottle right there. When I am outside I wear a camelbak (not the backpack kind, but the kind that fits right in the small of your back) so that is good for hydration, but it is not good for calories and fuel and carbs and electrolytes, etc. So I have to figure that out.
As for today...I didn't ride my bike AT ALL, so there! My mom couldn't watch the kids, so I had to go to the gym (and take them with me). I did 40 minutes on the arc and 30 minutes of strength training.
But go pick on NANCY! She's the one who does all of those 20+ mile rides!
Ok, I think it is TOTALLY unfair that only one hog gets to go to the show. (Add indignant and self-righteous smileys here. lol) Why can't they both go? And how on earth do you decide? I mean, really, isn't it a bit like choosing which kid is your favorite?? Poor lonely hog. And how do the girls feel about eating one of the animals that they raised?
Pool time. More later.
